I've gone to this medical urgent care several times with great results, staff pleasant. I have visited this place multiple times and have recommended them to family and friends. I had recently had to visit this facility with such poor service and attitude from the MA. Poor attitude, acted like I was inconveniencing her, not sure what her day was like but you never take it out on a customer/patient. Proceeded to argue with me how deep you enter the nares to obtain nasal specimen, which she caused my nose to bleed deep in my canal. I do PCR testing, I do know the procedure. Getting the results was a JOKE! Most people need proof they tested negative to return back to work. You will need to return to the office for your results for proof. Needless to say I will not be returning to this office again. One positive thing about my visit, the physician was great!
Most of the time when I have been at Urgent Care for myself or one of my children, we've received great care. Especially if Zoe or Dr. Duffield treated us, and especially when Dr. Chamas was still there. She was absolutely WONDERFUL and we just loved her. However, one of the nurses that works there now has a horrible attitude she's short, overweight, and wears red scrubs. She knows I cannot hear and need to read her lips, but she still talks with her back to me anyway. And she easily gets irritated with us as a result. I have had dealings with her several times recently, and each time, her attitude has sucked. Last night, my daughter and I were both seen for COVID symptoms, and this nurse acted like she was disgusted by seeing us! Plus, the young male doctor, Dr. Elkasis, was VERY rude to me and my daughter. He simply told her "Just take Claritin, Zyrtec, whatever!" He didn't even want to treat her! I told her "It is in her chart that she is allergic to nearly every allergy medicine there is, and has tried every kind you can name! Can't you prescribe her something else?" He practically shouted at me "No! There's nothing else! Just tell her to drink fluids and take Tylenol!" Then he told me to take a steroid. I said "Again, it is in MY chart that I cannot take steroids because I'm allergic to all of them and also have bipolar so I cannot have NSAIDS." The nurse was standing right next to him telling me what he was saying because he wouldn't lower his mask so I could read his lips even though he also had a face shield on, and he even told me "I'm not lowering my mask!" It was apparent she never told him of mine and my daughter's medication allergies! But the nurse lowered her mask, but still gave me and my daughter a disgusted attitude. The doctor then told the nurse to tell me the same thing he told my daughter my daughter's deaf and had no idea what was going on - "Drink fluids and take Tylenol!" Then he practically ran away from us. The nurse came back and gave me a steroid shot in my right hip which caused me so much pain I nearly passed out. I've had shots before, but this one hurt the worst. Take my advice - do NOT be seen at this location if this nurse and the male Dr. Elkasis are working! You will leave feeling worse!
First time visiting here. I work in Owosso, live in Swartz Creek. I was very impressed with how quick I was seen and how wonderful the staff was. Very caring. Even the other people in the waiting room were nice. We actually carried on conversation, something most people don't do anymore. Most people just play on their phone's. I Will recommend this to family and friends in the area. Thank you. Feeling better already from the shot for my poison ivy.
Very disappointed in the doctors at the urgent care. Won't even see you if at all sick you have to sit in your car and wait for them to call you. Also, they do not look at thier patients charts to see previous medical issues. For example a lung condition and won't give any x-rays nothing. All because the doctor is to busy being a princess and doesn't want to chance getting it. Then go get a different job!
The doctors work well with my momma. They go out of their way to make sure she is completely taken care of and that we understand everything. Love Dr. Allam.
Very fast service, and even took my entire family of 5 in at once! Extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and the nurses are cute, too
I have had but pleasant sessions with the staff with great results! I’m pleased that my experience and opinion is considered with my treatment. I have more than just the pulmonary problems in treatment and willing referrals and communication with my other medical teams are a plus! I highly recommend OMG.
Worst experience I’ve ever had! We were first in line but the dr called everyone but my son. Waited almost an hour and still was not called back. Left feeling beyond sad and disappointed a medical office would provide such poor treatment.
This place has reception doing x-rays which has to be illegal, Covid tests, strep tests, mono testing and all Ma's charting plus giving medical results to patients. All for $13/hour I ran back and forth between doing 3 different jobs and was fired for 1 mistaken negative that was positive. Staff & Pa's are great but terrible management, absolutely backwards.
The reception staff was kind and understanding while Eric Duffield was extremely accommodating and easy to talk to. He's a very critical part of the healing process and knowledgeable in what he does to help
