I rarely write bad surveys, but this company repeatedly has bad customer service. We have no water..call to find out why- no answer. Says their closed. Go to website to find alternate # emergency line same phone #. I look up the maintenance servicer #- same line. So my options are no water bill is paid , no explanation why, no one to contact, no estimated time it will be returned. Bad service overall, and unfortunately, this is NOT the first time this has happened.
Water is off, been off most of the day. It's now 7:30 pm, we need showers, to water animals. I've called but they said they do not know when the water will be on. Yes I pay my bill. I'm a certified plumber myself, I've repaired water mains. Never once did it take us this long. Also if water was to be off for more then one hour we would put in a bypass to ensure customers have water while we made our repair. But not Oxford water works. I've got to go to a hotel for the night so we have got water. No this is not the first time this has happened. Last time we went without water for 22 hours. If I don't pay my bill I bet they would be right out to cut me off. Oxford water works has been unreliable for me. Since I'm not leaving Oxford I will be drilling a well and getting off Oxford water. Will be calling tomorrow for them to read water meter for final bill.
Great people and a well run water department. My water has never been shut off, nor have I had a problem with the employees because I’m nice to them. I pay my water bill, unlike some people in the reviews. Don’t mind them, they complain about a late fee for not paying there bill, and try to get it taken off. Anyhow, water tastes great, despite the people saying it’s disgusting. Nothing shady goes on. They follow state regulations. If they didn’t, they wouldn’t exist.
I have to call a few times to Oxford Water Department to ask about a bill or just any issue with my water. Each time they have been very professional, kind, and helpful. Thanks for doing all you guys do to keep Oxford up and running!! Happy customer!!
Horrible customer service when calling to make a bill payment the lady was very short and sounded like I was bothering her. Do better Oxford Water we are paying you all. If you hate your job that much find a new one simple
Rudest people I ever saw. How they get away with this is beyond my comprehension. People have to have water so I assume that is why. So rude, must be a requirement for the job.
Our water goes out, no joke, for 6 to 12 hours about every other week. It always "breaks" at the worst times, i.e 6 AM.-4 PM. Saturday... Whenever I call them, they claim a water main is broken. Terrible service. If there was any other option, I'd be leaving ASAP...
Moved in a place they didn't turn water off first day they wait and came second day which was the day before Thanksgiving at 11am and they closed at 12, now water off until Monday smh5 freaking days
My water goes out every two or three weeks for a whole day. I call, they say oh a water main broke... every couple weeks. Oxford Al is like a special ed city.
I thought they weren't supposed to turn peoples water off during the pandemic.
