This is a very nice KOA just off Hwy 54 near Lake of the Ozarks. The sites are all well shaded with mature trees. There are a number of very nice deluxe patio sites. The shower rooms and bathrooms are clean and and very nice with tiled floors and walls and air conditioned. The pool is good size and well kept. There is newer playground equipment for the kids. There are some very unique cabins. The staff was friendly, however they are short staffed and you may not always be able to get in touch with someone, especially after hours. The only caveat is that the roads through the park are a little rough. We will definitely be back. Playground: Very nice updated playground equipment. Restrooms: Very clean nicely decorated with tiled floors and walls. The bathrooms are clean and air conditioned. Dog-friendliness: Yes, very dog friendly. A small shaded fenced in dog park is in the park. Picnic area: Every site has a picnic table.
Good, cheap place to stay in the Lake of the Ozarks. Good pool, playground, and activities. We only stayed one night at a tent site, but it was a nice site and the staff specifically Louis were nice and hospitable. The pool was nice and wasn’t too busy. It’s relatively close to pretty much anything you’d want to do down at the lake!
The campground is not motorcycle friendly due to the way it is set up. One of the employees was in a accident that involve my husband on his motorcycle. Most of the staff were very friendly. The campground was very dog friendly. The showers were surprisingly clean the pool was great there was a game room that my kids enjoyed. However it was very dusty in the campsites. We camp alot and for me to say it was dusty it was bad. I would go back but not on bike week or riding.
Amazing KOA! THE BATHROOM!!! it was heaven!!! So nice. Everyone who works there is super friendly. Luis delivered us firewood one night, which was awesome! We had a RV site with a patio and fire pit which we got a lot of use out of! We used the pool which was amazing and hiked on the paths in the woods. We really enjoyed our stay! Thank you!
Very nice park! Very quiet and the regular there are super nice! But if you need flat land to walk around then this is more of hiking koa! Make sure you have car to site see I heard the lake is beautiful. The showers could used more pressure!!!!! Thats for sure!!!
Uneven spots, roads with large ruts and in desperate need of some maintenance. Highway noise at night. Good location. Nice folks.
Elk Cabin we are staying in is DIRTY!!! Says it sleeps 6 people, yet only has some random sheet for 4. No blankets. Pulled out the hide-a-bed and it had crumbs all over the wrinkled sheets, a very old stained mattress, and unusable. Totally disappointed. Camp ground is nice, pool felt great, and we had fun while being outside.
Camped in a primitive tent site. The roads throughout the park were in terrible condition. Bought some fire wood and asked it to be delivered to site. It never got delivered. Went to store to get ice and the store wasn’t open even though hours said it was. Had to call someone who came and got the ice but said he didn’t have keys to the register so couldn’t make change. Was told they would bring the change up shortly but never did. Every time we went back to the store it was never open again. Never got the money owed to us. Will not stay here again.
Very clean, very friendly, the employees were kind beyond need. We enjoyed our stay in the new cabin and will absolutely return as often as possible. We have camped here in the past in our camper. We have truly enjoyed this KOA each and every time. And I'm picky. Thank you for a great time!!
Clean bathrooms. Very accommodating and nice staff! I rented a 50 amp RV site for 1 night and tented on it as I needed that electricity outlet to charge my EV, there was no issues from the staff in doing that.Rooms: 5/5
