Update 5/11/23: David, thank you for your response it is appreciated. Yes, we will take you up on your offer. Probably will be a week or so until we can return to the restaurant. We will let you know when we will be there. Thank you again for taking the time to reply. Original review: WARNING: Never order take-out from this restaurant. We normally eat at PJs a minimum of two to three times a month. While a little expensive for what you get, the food is consistent and decent enough and the service isn't too bad. They're also one of the only restaurants in the Medford area that's open late. This past Wednesday delivery for the first time. The website was fine but nothing spectacular as far as trying to order. Delivery showed up about an hour. We live 2 miles away Problem one, a bacon chicken didn't contain any bacon at all. Problems two, the PJ we ordered without onions was smothered in onions. Problem Three, the famous fries that we ordered only filled about half the container and was about a third the size of what you would get at the restaurant. Problem four, our $10 order of onion, which were actually very good, consisted of a total of five rings varying in size. The receipt that we received with the order show the items as we actually expected them to arrive. Unfortunately, the food delivered did not match the receipt. Again, the bacon the onions etc. Absolutely disgraceful. We mentioned this to a lot of friends in the past few days. To our surprise, apparently it's a very well-known fact in the area that you do not order out or delivery from this restaurant. Everyone we've spoken so, seven of them, I've stated they will no longer order order from the restaurant unless they're eating there. Their orders have been messed up way too many times. We did not contact the restaurant directly but we did fill out their survey. Our friends have made it pretty clear that contact in the restaurant is a futile task at the response is typically no one cares. You're apparently welcome to bring back your food for a replacement. If that's what I wanted to do, I wouldn't have ordered delivery. Also wouldn't want to wait another hour to eat. Stay away from PJs delivery and takeout!
My server, Gianna, was extremely helpful while serving myself and the group that I was with. She went above and beyond even when helping other customers. I’m from the area and the servers, as well as the atmosphere, makes me always want to come back. Not to mention the food is always great too. Never a complaint! Parking: Many parking spots. On busy nights you can still find room to park!
Great time today on their outside patio. Great drinks and service. The food was delicious too. Great start to the better weather season.
Me and my girlfriend Lauren absolutely enjoyed our meal! Very satisfied with our dining experience! Our server Kelley was very professional and kind to us, and made sure we had everything we needed and made our experience here at PJ’s even better! Will definitely dine here again!! We were a party of nine and got seated pretty quickly on Thursday, June 8th. We waited at least twenty minutes for a waitress to approach us. She took our drink order and never came back. It took about fifteen minutes to get our drinks. We put in our order with the second waitress and never saw her again. We waited another forty minutes to get our food from a third waitress who apologized that they kept changing our server. She was great and is the only reason this review is not 1-star. I have been to both the Cherry Hill and Maple Shade locations and never had this issue. I’ll probably stick to them moving forward.
While there was a mixup with the party menu the managers handled everything well. Ellie, our server, did an exemplary job of providing us with everything we requested in a timely and professional manner.
Sat for about 17 minutes, no one ever came to the table. Finally got up and to see several people at the front desk idle. When I notified them no one ever came to the table after about 20 minutes, all they said was sorry. Needless to say, we left. Additionally the table we were sat was dirty. We cleaned it ourselves with the rag and spray left there.
Nice lunch on the patio. Delicious fried pickles and cheesesteak egg rolls aor appetizers. Crab cake sandwich was delicious, as was the onion soup. Beer could have been colder, but a good experience overall.Food: 5/5
My wife and I visited on Wednesday the 26th and enjoyed our meal. Not only was the food good, but our waitress Kat was superb. She consistently went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Her great personality, cheerful demeanor and can do attitude will definitely keep us coming back!!!!
Our waitress Kelley was supreme! She was so considerate of my wife which had a debilitating disability, made sure she didn’t get anything my wife Mary was allergic to, and even made sure we were sat comfortably! Will definitely eat here again! Vegetarian options: Many great vegetarian options! Kid-friendliness: Kids love it here! Parking: Great parking, so many spots! Wheelchair accessibility: My wife was very well taken care of by our waitress Kelley, she even guided us through the building and made sure my wheelchair bound wife got through the building without trouble! Dietary restrictions: My wife Mary is deathly allergic to beans, and our waitress Kelley made sure no beans even came near our food! Thank you Kelley!
