P V Barber Shop

One of the male barbers messed me up for the second time in a row, i asked for 1/2 an inch cut off the top and he cut me down a good 2 inches. The exact same thing happened last time probably wont be coming back endless it is to the girl.

I went there twice. They were never really warm but that does not bother me that much. After my second haircut I went home and found that they did not shave my sideburns. I could not shave because I would have looked like a maniac.

Walked in this evening with my son to get a cut. While their door was wide open and customers were sitting waiting, one of the barbers very rudely stated “we’re closed, can’t you read the sign” as if I were stupid or illiterate. I said “excuse me” shocked and thinking I may have misheard him. Nope he doubled down and said “can’t you read the sign?” Will not step foot in this shop ever again, and will spread the word to anyone who asks. Very unprofessional.

Posting this low review because I've come here three times. Each time with a different barber/stylist. None of them could cut my hair neatly. There were long hairs left all over in my part area from every barber I was cut by. Also one barber/stylist who I talked with did not give me options to cut my hair appropriately. I have a cowlick in the back of my head. His/her idea of making me look good was to give me a medium fade all over and the back of my head in the two inch diameter spot where the cowlick is, leave that longer than everything else. Looked horrible. This was not a case of customer demanding something and not listening to the barber/stylist advice. I told him/her to please use his/her expertise to make me look good and I need help. I'd happily change my hairstyle if it meant it and that was his/her plan. I ended up with an uneven head. They're cash only too. I won't be coming back to waste my time or money.

They do a good job. Very reasonable price.

Been coming here all my life but will not be coming back. Got into shouting match with the barber as he was defending Donald Trump and we argued until I left. This place has an old school Republican feel and as a gay brown person I do not feel welcome - unless you're white and rich and Republican, don't come to this barber. Racism abound at PV barbers

Definition of old school barber shop. Probably looks the same as it did 50 years ago. But any of the barbers I've had there did a good job, and prices are reasonable. Parking is easy.

Have some of the best memories there! Gil became my son and I friend that we miss dearly now that we live back in Virginia. One great Barber

Took my in as a walk in and got me squared away for my wedding in a rush! Great cut! Thank you all! Also my barber is a Marine Veteran.
