9/5/23 the employees 2 girls one guy were legit just making TikTok’s and taking photos. One of the employees started yelling about a kid crying and started to mock them, and they were putting out clothes in the wrong sections that didn’t apply with the discount and it was all just very confusing. Honestly the worst experience I’ve had at this store.
Good clothes some clothes weren’t in stock so not a lot of choices. Got a shirt from there for 27 dollars I believe good quality.
Saw an employee yell at a customer just for looking at a shirt because she was “working on that table” lol please. As someone who works retail you never go after a customer like that.
Options are very good and employees are relatable and funny/nice
This Pacsun used to be nice, but it's been going downhill. I used to shop here frequently when I was in school, but less and less now, especially since the clothes they carry now are trendy items that are a little too out there and trying hard. But the two most noticeable problems can't be ignored...1 The store is messy and unorganized, and gets worse every time I visit 2 The employees are terrible. They have zero customer service skills, can be condescending and have a superiority complex you're maybe 20 years old and work for minimum wage at a chain clothing store marketed for teenagers if I must remind Since when do stores only hire kids? I've never seen anyone who looks over the age of 21, or a manager for that matter. The employees can barely work a basic point of sale register, pay attention to a line at the fitting room, or help you with simple questions. They do not care about the customer and they act like they are too cool to do their job. Example, I was in this Pacsun store last night August 4th and all four employees were sitting - SITTING - on the display tables of clothes chatting with one another near the entrance. I didn't even think they were employees until one of them said "welcome in" and I looked up in shock. Two of the guys were sitting on a display table of jeans, even on top of a pair that I would have liked to look at or try on if they weren't sitting there. I tried to linger and look at the pants but it was just uncomfortable to have these employees grouped together talking and laughing obnoxiously, literally sitting on the display tables, so I walked away. Everything towards the back looked like it was made for a child - size and style - and it got messier the further you walked. I left the store within 5 minutes and told my friend who was on her way to meet me to forget it. I will not be shopping there again - at least not at the Washington Square location.
I bought my daughter a bunch of clothes including shorts which were BOGO. She needed to exchange a couple of them so I sent her with my older daughter. Come to find out we weren't charged for 2 pair. Both my daughters 14 & 18 look young. They took the shorts from them and accused them of stealing. I called to talk to the manager because I feel if I were there that wouldn't have happened and it shouldn't of happened. She only would say she didn't accuse them. So now they are calling them liars?!! She was young and unprofessional. I wont be shopping there again!
I walked in with my wife and bought some stuff. I told the only female cashier who was their I would of stayed longer if the music was better. Instead of her appreciating the feed back. She told me in a very bad manner that she can't do nothing about it. So I said just tell the manegment. She said with bad attitued, even the management can't do nothing about the music. I realize then I was dealing with a very disrespectful female teenager. So I told her flat out I would never go back to pacsun at Washington mall Portland. This happen today Sunday morning 09/10/2016
When I had gone in to buy the quay vespea cat eye sunglasses, they had no idea what I was talking about and I know because I had visited their store and had seen them over multiple occasions that they weren't relatively new. First they had no clue what the price was, then she had tried to sell me the display instead of grabbing from the stock they have meant for sales that are new and come with a "protective" case but it didn't bother me too much since she was super nice and came off as a newby. The part that bothered me was that after they did grab a new pair, they hadn't even given me the right pair. Didn't seem to even look for them when I had come back and then tried to sell me the display for the same price. To me it doesn't make sense to pay full price for brand new glasses to only get the ones with a bunch of grubby fingerprints and less durability in the wear from being put on multiple people's head. Normally I wouldn't mind mind piercings or tattoos either but her dermals that looked relatively new due to redness on her spine and revealing shirt was distracting as well, especially as a manager the person I had dealt with when I came back...
When ordered 2 Juice Tupac sweatshirts, got a shipping confirmation that had said the order would have been delivered by Tuesday Dec 5 2018.. Never received my package nor did I ever receive an email stating what was going on. I called customer service and asked if they could tell me what was going on and the guy told me the package was undeliverable but had the right addresss and I had received multiple things from them... He then proceeded to tell me that those sweatshirts were no longer available and that they would have to refund my money.. If I had not called and let them know that I hadn’t received my package, I would have never known what happened to the package nor would I have gotten my refund back.. VERY disappointed in their customer service and the lack of communication..
I remember coming in here when I was a teenager and I definitely remember the clothes having a more relaxed surfer-vibe aesthetic. I feel like the clothing now is too trendy and geared more towards fast fashion. If I want fast fashion, I'll just go to F21 or H&M to be honest. Even their Brandy Melville section isn't that great and way overpriced; you'll be at least paying 30% markup when you can buy Brandy cheaper from the Brandy website. Their Adidas section has a moderate variety of styles, however, I feel like you can find all of those pieces cheaper directly from the Adidas website i.e. using the 15% off student discount & free shipping or Urban Outiftters even! If I am really desperate in trying to find a particular Adidas piece, then I will sometimes check out Pacsun. Otherwise, I recommend doing your research first before stepping into this place!
