Southern Splendor: The South has a rich tradition of unique quilts, colors, and quilting styles. The 2018 Rotary exhibit showcases antique quilts from the region that celebrate the soothing voices of our Southern heritage. Curated by Mary Kerr
Quilters throughout history have adapted patterns to fit their individual aesthetic. Mary Kerr will present 8 - 10 sets of antique quilts, each set will have 3 - 4 quilts that are unique variations of the same pattern.
Proceeds from the annual Rotary Antique Quilt Show benefit the Rotary Education Assistance Program (REAP), which provides 5 semesters of tuition funding to qualifying Paducah/McCracken County students to attend West Kentucky Community and Technical College.
The Paducah Rotary Antique Quilt Show offers the world's most beautiful quilts, with each year featuring various "themed" quilts. In addition, the show offers a merchant mall with 13 vendors. Merchant Mall Vendors include:
