Pahrump Rentals and DoItBest Hardware is a proudly family owned hardware store and rental company that has served Pahrump since 1994.
Pahrump Rentals & Hardware started in 1979 as a family-owned equipment rental yard in Lucerne Valley, California. In 1993, we relocated to Pahrump because it was a better community where we could raise our family and grow our business. After a few moves and expansions, customers began to ask us to carry specialty items in order to give them a quick one-stop shop for their projects.
This eventually led us to join the Do It Best hardware co-op in 2005. Soon we grew to become a full-size hardware store while keeping our original rental fleet. Through the years, we've taken pride in offering old fashioned, friendly customer service and are constantly looking for better opportunities to help our customers and our community.
Our owner, Karen Thomas, was one of the first women in the state of California to obtain General A contractor’s license in 1984. She has used her extensive experience as a contractor and knowledge of equipment and building regulations to better serve her customers. She was joined in the business in 1989 by her now deceased husband, George, a retired truck driver and mechanic who added a lifetime of experience and knowledge to her own, and later in 2005 by their daughter, Meghan.
