To organize workers and to improve their lives and livelihoods and the welfare of their families through the benefits of collective bargaining.
To promote the benefits of Union membership, it's principles and the importance of harmony and the cultivation of friendship among it members.
To aid and promote our members to become a more skillful, safe and efficient workforce.
To secure improved wages, hours, working conditions and other economic advantages for our members and their families through organizing and collective bargaining, through advancement of our standing in the community and in the labor movement.
To provide educational advancement and training for officers, employees and members.
To protect and strengthen our democratic institutions and preserve and perpetuate the cherished traditions of democracy.
To protect and preserve the union as an institution and in the performance of its legal and contractual obligations.
To create a marketplace in which an atmosphere of labor/management cooperation will enhance prosperity for union employers while at the same time, motivating job security, safety, training and excellent wages and benefits for our members.
