Dr. Brooks and his assistant Karen were knowledgeable, kind and compassionate. They explained the procedures and the pricing and were so patient when I had questions. I will definitely use this clinic for my morkie Willow again.
If I could give no stars on this review I would give no stars. The previous doctor was wonderful unfortunately he had to retire. I brought my cat in earlier this month because he had a cold she didn't listen to his heart she didn't really examine him at all said he was fine and gave me some supplements and it cost me $400 out the door. 2 weeks later he still has a cold he won't eat the supplements and I had to take him to another vet. She says that both of his back teeth are bad that there's redness around them and that he needs a dental appointment that'll cost $1,000 but today's visit for the medications that she gave him and the pain medication because he's in pain cost $119. Pajaro valley veterinary clinic is not a good place to take your pet not in my opinion
Well! We have been looking for a Vet and we had to just call & choose one. Regret calling & going to this place. Highly not recommended! The Vet had no "Bed Side" at all! Our 1 yr old Doggy is the sweetest dog ever and loves everyone. She did not like this Vet at all, and neither did we. We were basically traumatized by the way he talked to us about how to take care of our dog. This was our first visit and our last. We will be looking for a Another Vet.... We will keep looking till we find one that will have compassion not only for our pet but also for the parents . It was an awful experience
I had been going to Dr. B for several years. I had heard that Dr. B had sold his business. When my border collie passed in Oct of 2021 I called to have her cremated. Picked out the River Rock stone to place my fur baby. I received call from Kim that she was ready for pickup. Picked up box which was sealed and came home to place her in her special spot. Opened the box and saw a horrible mustard color urn. I was so upset. I called the office and said that there was a mistake made. That I didn't order that urn. After, several days waiting for response finally got that the outside company would re-do. When I finally got a call that my River Rock stone had arrived, I asked Kim can I bring back the other urn to have my dog transferred. I was told to put my previous urn in a pillowcase and drop it to break open. I was in disbelief. Is that how you treat Loyal patients! Now, I get the re-do and it's WRONG the second time. This time it's ugly pot. Needless, to say STAY away from this place. No compassion. I'm so sorry that this company took over Dr. B practice. They are heartless. I would not recommend to anyone.
Great place, all the Pajaro Valley Veterinary Hospital, team are fantastic, and very responsible, with all the pets. They take care of them including my beautiful, big and strong dog. Thank you! We love you
I have been coming to this vet for a long time with Dr. B. He was kind and knowledgeable with both my cats and dogs over the many years we came to see him. He recently retired and this was my first time coming in since he left. The only competent person there was the receptionist, the new vet Dr. Brooks was apathetic and had no manners or way with our 1 year old pup. When asked about certain parasites he said, “I don’t know, you should look it up and let me know”. The techs were nice but seemed inexperienced, my dog was taken to the back to get a blood draw and some vaccines which he has already gone through in the past multiple times and he’s taken it like a champ was whimpering, crying, and barking so much that I asked the receptionist if she could go ask if they needed help. My dog was so scared when he was brought back into the room that he was crying and had peed himself. The last vaccines and medicine were given in the room with us with no issues. I would not recommend this place and will be looking for a new place to take my pets in the future. Look somewhere else. If I could give this place no zero stars I would.
Trust is important with a vet. Everyone is so nice and best of all they're always honest. They could have recommended expensive surgery for my cat but instead gave me other options that not only helped her but were cheaper. That says a lot about them.
It was our first visit here, and it was very easy to make an appointment. The receptionist Kim, was very informative, and while she was very professional , she was very sweet and personable. During the visit, the staff complied with the Covid19 safety procedures, so they took our sweet pooch, while we sat in our car. The doctor came out and explained everything concerning our dogs visit and aftercare, and was the kindest and most patient vet. I'm so glad I found this clinic, and I will continue to bring all my furry friends here from now on. Awesome!
Been coming for years. Staff completely changed recently. I am not feeling the same warm welcome as before. Phone is constantly ringing. Long hold times. Many times I've called, there's no answer or way to leave a message. On my most recent visit, an annual visit for my pet, the Dr asked me questions. Suggested fish oil. Left. The vet tech came back with two quotes...totaling over 2k with a bunch of "concerns" that the vet never even addressed with me. I've tried to update my pets medical history. All my emails have gone unresponsive. So they continue to tell me that my pet doesn't have up to date vaccines. I might come here in a pinch, but will be locating my pets care elsewhere.
