I purchased two tickets for the 45th Anniversary of the movie Grease which I was incredibly excited about! the kid in me was squeeling! I took my 15 year old granddaughter with me which made it an even cooler experience! Arriving there, the parking can be a bit crowded as there is not only the movie theatre with many shows playing but there are also several stores surrounding the theatre. Once inside there was an employee that was supposed to be checking tickets but he was leaned up against a counter sort of out of sight. I approached him and asked if that was in fact the theatre showing Grease as I didn't see ANY advertisement for it at the actual location. He nodded and I asked if he needed to scan the QR code in my electronic tickets. He shrugged and said he could do it or if I was going to get concessions, they could do it. We were in fact going to get concessions and he certainly didn't seem interested in working at that moment, so we opted for that. The staff member we got at the concession stand was much more pleasant and eager to help. I even asked him if they take Apple Pay and he kindly explained that it's only card or cash at that register. THEN I saw the sign that was right in front of my face telling me the same remember, I'm SUPER excited about this movie! :- I apologized to the young man for missing the sign and he was gracious and said at least I saw it. lol He scanned my ticket and said "I didn't know they were showing this. I wouldn't asked off of work to see it." I excitedly told him they were showing it on the 17th as well. In hindsight, I think he may have been just being kind... but then again there ARE young ones that enjoy older musicals. lol The theatre only had about 8 people in it, which surprised me. WHO DOESN'T want to see GREASE.... IN A THEATRE?! Either way, we found our way to our seats. There are little rotatable tables with each chair that have built in cup holders. Both of our squeaked as we moved them to sit down. We got situated and waited excitedly for the movie to begin. They had some fun trivia prior to the movie as well as a recorded introduction from someone that had a part in the making of the movie. I wasn't paying attention as I was trying to get a photo with my granddaughter before the movie started. Again, there were only about 8 of us in the theatre so I wasn't disturbing anyone by doing so. The film was playing on both sides of the screen as if it wasn't placed correctly. So parts of the scenes were not actually seen on the screen. That didn't bother me too much as I could still see the movie for the most part. The seats were comfortable enough and recline back to an almost laying position which was nice. They were heated seats which I've grown accustomed to in the higher priced theatres spoiled much, Renée? but they were still comfortable. What was disappointing is the way they looked. They were peeling and look awful. The tables need some maintenance. I DID like how this theatre has levels with like barrier walls for each level. So when you're seated, you don't see the other rows or people. That was nice! Felt more private. The bathroom had many stalls but only one soap dispenser, which was empty. It didn't look as if the bathroom is being maintained much. The waterfall and the lights outside really make the theatre beautiful at night time. My granddaughter and I stopped for a photo under the lights. Overall a great experience but the theatre really does need to tighten up a bit on their maintenance and the staff that is representing them.
We saw Avatar in IMAX 3D here. It was definitely worth it! I could see bullets flying at me in some fight scenes and the nature background felt more alive compared to if it was on a flat screen. Overall, the theater was nice and clean although we went on a weekday, so it may get dirty when it’s busy. The sound was also good. In fact, it got abrasively loud at times but I have excellent hearing. I recommend earplugs for people with great hearing. Overall, a great a experience!
The Palladium is but a mile away from us, so it’s our preferred place when we go out to see a movie. It’s clean, they have good snacks and the movies are great. They might still be having some Covid personnel issues, but if you’re patient, you’ll have a good experience! There are a number of good places to have dinner before the show located conveniently near.
Some of the trays for the seats were a little wore out & need some tlc, but everything else was excellent. There was a confusion with the drink I ordered but it was swiftly corrected. I was very pleased with the whole experience.
Awesome! This is my wife and I favorite place to see a movie. We are looking forward to viewing a movie in 3D soon, if one is available. The recession area is always clean with courteous attendance waiting. And they are prompt in service. Not to mention the reclining chairs and not once did the a/c was hot or the theater got hot, even when it's packed, sometimes too cold, but comfortable! And I love the free refills on large drinks and large popcorn. Even when the show is over, you can take a refill with you.
Comfy and clean theater. Went to see Barbie on 7/27 with a group of friends and Jackson with the red curly hair was so nice to offer to take a group photo of us! Always appreciate when team members go out of their way for excellent customer service!
It's a movie theater - it smells of old overused oil. Besides that, zero complaints. I've been coming here ever since it was first built. It's getting old, and some things, like the chairs, need to be replaced. But they still recline and stretch out. We saw The Little Mermaid in 3D. Again, zero complaints. Both the image and the sound were perfect. It's more expensive than other movie theaters, but worth it because of the crowd control factor. The showing rooms have fewer seats, so there's far less people in the building overall. The "seats" being recliners, take up even more space when reclined - another reason for even less people. If your traditional movie going experience is a stampede stinking of stale popcorn oil, this will be a nice surprise
Went to a 7:30pm viewing of Equalizer 3 and the movie was about 2 mins in and Fire Alarms began to flash and we had to evacuate the building like a movie scene. About 30-40 mins later we were told the movie would restart where it left off if we wanted to return. At 8:50 we got ready to leave because the movie had still not resumed and at 8:55pm the 7:30pm movie started as resumed at about the time we should have been leaving on a Sunday night. Now I realize they couldn't control the emergency but I do think we should have been better compensated. Otherwise the movie was great in it's usual Denzel Washington phenomenal fashion!! I will definitely see it again...at home!!
Spent $36 on Fandango for 3 movie seats… that’s expensive but not the worst part of my visit. Spent $34 for a large popcorn, a small popcorn, a large coke & a bag of M&M’s… that’s bad, but not even the worst part… The popcorn was old & cold and the soda was FLAT!! I know movies are expensive and I have accepted that… what I refuse to accept is that I paid a premium for food that was disgusting. Also, the recliners at the palladium are beginning to come apart. Perhaps it’s time that I spend my money elsewhere… NOT PLEASED!!!
My family and I have the fregar unlimited and we use it to the max! We go to the movies so often. We have really gotten to love the reclining chairs and the comforts of the theatre. One of the best in the area. You should come check it out for yourself.
