My wife loves the good deals here, even the cashiers sometimes have coupons and will apply them if they have them without you saying anything. Sometimes though, it can be difficult to get assistance and many times the shoe Dept is a crazy mess. Restroom has been pretty dirty a few times too.
So I read some of the reviews here and i can help but laugh at a few of them. I worked at this particular PR and first of all we had a very diverse staff. Our customer was primarily a Hispanic customer...so to say that we were discriminatory would be a completely idiotic statement. We would be biting the hand that feeds us as the majority of our profit came from the Hispanic community. Maybe you were acting funny and warranted being watched. Maybe you really were trying to steal and you got busted so you had to blast PR on the internet because you didn't get what you wanted. I do not know what your intentions were but do not spread rumors that are not true because of a poor perception of what truly happened. And as far as "waiting 40 minutes to be helped", seriously who in there right mind would wait that long. Again poor perception of what truly happened. I was there the day that this customer "waited 40 minutes" and it is completely untrue. We always have a dedicated cashier at that location and our staff was always happy to help anyone that approached the counter. Generally one minute of wait time to a customer is like 10 minutes...so in reality you probably waited four minutes and just "couldn't wait anymore". I was there when this happened and our associate went to the restroom. I was on my way up to relieve her while she was in the ladies room. I saw you there waiting but was distracted by another customer. But we hot to you and it was not 40 minutes later. Get over yourself. To take the time to lie on the internet about a falsified wait time is just ignorant. Again who waits 20 or 40 minutes for help. If you are too stupid to go look for help after a couple minutes then maybe they shouldn't let you out of the house to bother the good people that work in this store. A C level employee visited the store and read this idiotic review to us and we had to answer why this happened. He understood that a customer's perception is always skewed. Sheryll, Tanya, and Kevin are fantastic managers and they break their backs to make the store is a beautiful and friendly place to be. I do not work there anymore and I did not enjoy my time there but I know for a fact that these negative reviews are full of half truths and ignorant perceptions.
They're closing the store so I really didnt expect much. Not having a working restroom was a bit annoying though. Though it probably saved me from spending too much money!
Very helpful and professional people work here. Great prices on several items. I have been shopping with them for over 30 years, when they were Bealls.
This place is so bad. Yeah they would have great prices if the clothes where on the right rack. Waited in line for 15 mins because everyone moved so slow only to find out clothes I wanted to buy on wrong rack. I don’t recommend going there.
I haven't visited a Palais Royal since the 90's but my sister took me one day and I found tons of great deals, and there's always some kind of discount!
If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I have had multiple bad experiences, in this specific palais royal. My 1st bad experience was around Christmas. I wanted to buy 2 different pairs of earnings, I stood in the jewelry section about 20 mins and not a single employee bothered to ask if I needed help. In my 2nd bad experience I had to wait 10 minutes in the cosmetic counter and not a single employee acknowledged me or bothered to help me. It is unbelievable how much discrimination there is in this palais royal, i will not be returning to this store.
Store is closing but will remain with another name. Too many clearance prices to share. Still has quality clothing at 10%-40% discounts. Departments are men, women, children's and household items.
I would give zero stars if that choice was available! Christina or Christine that works weekends at Palais Royal is so rude! This girl does not need to be in any kind of customer service! Especially when her friends and family Are taken care of before the customer. No equal opportunity there! It’s all about who you know!
Great location easy access good customer service, and only location still open that I have shopped at , my other location closed down for some reason ldk but this works for me not real busy so fast check out
