My family and I had a great time at this hotel! I was hesitant to book this place because reviews were saying that the rooms were dirty and stay was rude. But either they were wrong, or we just got lucky. The room we booked was a 2 bedroom with 2 bathroom villa. It had 1 king bed, 2 queen beds and I sofa bed! Absolutely spacious unit with a living room, balcony, dining table that seats 6 and a full kitchen! We don’t like those small hotels that are rectangular shaped, small, only have 1 bathroom and not spacious. The pool area is huge and they have a bar so you can grab a couple of drinks! Parking was not complicated and in a garage. With the heat in Palm Springs, you’ll definitely want a hotel that has shaded parking. It was 114 degrees when we went. Despite the heat, my family and I had a great time. Next time we’re in Palm Springs, we’ll be staying here!
The staff was great. Stephanie W. at the front desk was awesome! Give her a raise! The pool bar drinks and food were exceptional and the staff was hustling. We had a great experience. The only complaint is our room was a little dirty and outdated, and I wish they had coffee in lobby. We will definitely stay with Palm Canyon resort again. Hopefully, Hilton will make some improvements.
I have never stayed at a timeshare hotel before. But it was nice. But for some reason our T-Mobile cell service was blocked on property grounds. No cell or data service was allowed to place calls or receive a call unless you were on their wifi. And only were able to place wifi calls only. It was a bit strange...
My only regret was that I did not stay even more days!!!. This property was just recently bought by Hilton so they are doing some updating but I enjoyed it even the way it already is. I super super appreciated all the cookware that was in the room. Really everything to make a happy meal. Especially a casserole dish. Haha. Only thing there wasn't was a cookie sheet or pizza pan. There was a nice laundry basket and soap. The balconies were nice to just sit out and have and enjoy the weather. We had 4 of us in this room and it was so great to have a separate room with its own door and the kids sleeping on the pull out couch. This room was basically like a small 1 bedroom apartment. Haha. Rooms: Super comfy. Made me feel right at home. Nearby activities: Downtown palm spring. Boomers. Bars. Etc
The parking there is horrible. The food/drink prices at the Cafe are outrageous. The only thing we liked was the water slide. If not for that, our time there wouldn't have been that great. We will definitely stay at a different place when we go to Palm Springs. The staff members we had interaction with though seemed to be very nice and helpful. So I will give them that. Rooms: The rooms do not have washing machines in them as I was told. I found out there was one washing machine and one dryer in each building. The one in our building was out of order. The ac swamp cooler as I was told doesn't work well when really hot in the room or in the hallways. And the room had a horrible smell. It smelled of a mildew, smoke, and pee mixture. It was really hard to deal with. Not sure if it was just our room. Or others there experienced it as well.
Only stayed one night and regret it so much. What an amazing place. It’s like heaven in the desert. The staff are incredible, the location is stunning and the room was HUGE. The pool area is so clean and well maintained - and brilliant for kids and us adults loved the jacuzzi!!. Highly recommended!
This place is a great place for kids to play in the pool and have fun in the water slides but the water was disgusting, very dirty. The food and drinks there was overly priced. Talking about the room is what made us leave 2 days early from our 3 day stay. The moment you walk into the room the carpet hits you with the worst smell ever and it’s full of stains. The room was full of ants everywhere you look. The parking was horrible, we were not allowed to park our SUV in the underground, we had to park our car outside of the hotel and in the streets. Service wasn’t the best, we were told to get another trip on them, but my wife didn’t have her id on her at the time so they did not give us the trip. Would not recommend a stay here.
