As I’m at a table waiting for my order while I watch a waitress repeatedly cough into the air and onto her hands. Then touch plates, utensils, and handle food. Not once have I seen her wash or apply sanitizer. If I hadn’t already placed my ordered and needed a place to get some work done, I would walk out. Apparently germs aren’t really in FL. Thankfully my drink was strong and I had a different waiter handling my food
The place is dirty and smells weird but the food was a pleasant surprise… fries were super crispy and the lettuce was very fresh.
Very expensive for what we both agreed was like eating cafeteria food. There were what looked like two slices of turkey on the carved turkey entree. It turned out the slice underneath was actual 2/3s of a slice. The service was okay, but even our server was unenthused. I would say go somewhere else, but the truth is nothing was inspired. Eat before you arrive or bring something with you.
The place has pretty good food especially considering it’s located in an AIRPORT! The mahi mahi sandwich was good fries were good. Some reviews I saw were people complaining that the restaurant gave them plastic silverware. They questioned why can’t the restaurant afford metal utensils. Well you get plastic utensils because you’re in a damn AIRPORT geniuses. Service was good also, they went out of their way to make sure customers wouldn’t be late for their boarding and even let people know that flights were cancelled or delayed.
Be mindful. I stood by the sign that says "Please wait to be seated" for a few. Even had a staff member walk by and make eye contact. Nothing. Now I get that you own the restaurant across the way too. But my money isn't going to PCM now. I'm sitting and enjoying a beer at Casa Bacardi. I'm wasn't standing for my health. If staff looks me in the eye, they at least should acknowledge my existence rather than walk by.
Overpriced and poor food. Servers were nice, it's not their fault. I won't be going back again though. "Turkey sandwich" was a couple slabs on wonder bread and collards were a pile of greens, both with no flavor. Add to that a $22 GLASS of wine, and it's salt in the unsalted food wound. Next time I'll just bring in Taco Bell instead.
Other than the wings coming out fast there is nothing good about them. They are tiny with no meat. You are given a cup of hot sauce to dunk them in. The menu says blue cheese but I was given a cup of ranch to dunk in.Food: 1/5
Glad I sat at the bar, Stacy seemed to be their best employee. I enjoyed 2 beers and the chipotle quesadillas. The quesadillas were surprisingly tasty and I'd recommend them if you are having trouble deciding. Only thing is that they came with WAY too much condiments. More salsa, sour cream, and guacamole than I knew what to do with. The other staff didn't seem as friendly and many other customers were trying to pay at the bar because their servers hadn't come back. Stacy was outgoing and actually seemed to like her job here. The folks next to me got the cob salad and it also looked real good. The place was very busy and possibly a bit unorganized. Given that there are only 2 options for food and drinks in this terminal, I think they are doing great.
We paid $70 for 2 burgers and two beers plus tip. The burgers are equivalent to what you would get in a high school cafeteria. Asked for ranch for fries and they give you cheap Ken's ranch cups. Dining in we got plastic silverware in those small plastic bags to eat with. You would think with the prices they could afford to pay dishwashers to clean metal utensils. Absolutely overpriced and terrible food. It's criminal the way they can charge this much because they know you have no other options for food once you're in the airport especially because Fort Myers airport is the WORST and has the majority of their restaurants BEFORE security and your individual gate section has only one or two options for sit down restaurants. Eat before you get to the airport! I've worked in restaurants for a while and I'm offended by the quality and price... They're definitely screwing you over.
I have low expectations for any airport eatery… and I was *still* disappointed here. service was very slow and sidework-focused, but friendly enough. Awful food. Ordered the CBLT, “grilled chicken breast, bacon, lettuce, tomato, creamy ranch, brioche bun, seasoned fries.” See photo for meal - at most, 4oz of chicken, microwaved “bacon,” and packaged condiments on a hamburger roll with regular fries… that - although not seasoned - were still the least awful thing on the styrofoam plate. The only other option in this terminal is Casa Bacardi, which I can’t imagine is better. Grab drinks here, if you must, but grab a snack elsewhere.
