Description
The Palmer Park Community Center is a renovation and addition to the existing center that was built in the 1960s. The existing gym was transformed into classrooms, a fitness center, and a dance studio as the remainder of the building was demolished to make way for offices, a collegiate-size gymnasium with an elevated running track, and a multi-purpose room with a stage. All these spaces are located around a centrally located lobby to maximize supervision.
