Please read do not waste your time or hard worked money in this community they are scammers and liars specially the manager Nicole she is extremely rude and unprofessional, i dont know how she still works there obviously her superiors do not care about who is representing them. My daughter and i lived here for a year and moved june 2020 to cascades at the hammocks after several encounters and issues with management at palmetto place. First and foremost they charged a pet fee at the end of the lease for my daughters service animal second they charged us for the flooring that should have been cover by the complex and repaired but according to them they couldnt because it was mid covid pandemic april 2020. and some how they kept the deposit and send me to collection which i was totally unaware of for the sum of 4,500 dollars. I Dropped of the aparment keys and the mailbox keys at the drop box as per Nicoles request because no one was ever in the office. I was contacted by someone from the community 2 years later to tell me i owed them 4500 and if i didnt pay they would send me to collection if i did not have any sustainable documentation. I tried reaching out to them directly several times with no answer left several voice mails and no call back this is seriously affecting me and no one else should go through something like this. Aside from that living there is a nightmare maintance is always an issue parking after 4 is impossible the parking spaces are extremely limited and tight they will ding and bang your car and if you go to the office they will say that is not there problem . The parking gets flooded you literally see people walking barefoot through the water to get to their apartment due to the flooding. My neighbor at the time had like 8 cats and they would do nothing about it.The apartments stared having pest infestation and they would not event attempt to control it. They would miss garbage days so often the halls would begin to smell and charge your for picking up the valet trash which they barely did. I sure much has not changed since they have not changed their local management. Not only that they reported me to professional debt mediation which are extremely rude and will literally hang up the phone and tell you they have no information they just need to collect the debt and will tell you to call palmetto place apartments or their client at asset living. please report every issue you have had to stop them for once and for all and if you dont already live here safe yourself from this misery.
My family was growing and we were searching for a family friendly, peaceful, and safe environment to move to. And I cannot express how happy we are in Palmetto Place Apartments. They offer so many services to keep your home safe and clean. Yismi and Karla are the best marketing team! They are so helpful, kind, and professional. We greatly appreciate them and how they helped us.
It is ridiculous the rent is being increased by $200 in 1 year. Everything is a hassle, especially with the people working in the office. The AC has broken down 3 times where we spend a weekend without any ac just a fan in 80-90 degree weather, the floor is peeling off. Every time they "fix" it, it starts to peel again in 2-3 days. Eventually you start tripping over and falling. Toilet has leaked since day 1. You put a request in, send pictures and maybe 3-6 months later they come to "fix" it. Their solution is charge you $300 and put you in a different apartment. Now having a 1 year old also forces you to have a 2 bedroom apartment therefore charging you even more for rent that you can barely afford. Horrible people run this place. How does $200 increase justify all the issues and horrible customer service from the office workers. How is it their solution is to charge you $300 and switch you to an apart which you definitely wouldn't be able to afford.
I have been living here for the past 6 years and not complain at all. Clean and secure place, the maintenance crew are very friendly, helpful and go about and beyond to have the residence happy.
Not attentive. The office is always brushing you off. You could never get a hold of the manager Nicole the rent is just way too expensive. Aside from the additional parking service you have to pay for and when you need to get in contact with somebody nobody is there for you. Terrible customer service. Which has taken me back because I used to live here couple years back and it was not like this. My apartment was infested with roaches, and I had to get my own Fumigator to help me with the issue because all the maintenance office came to do was put stickers on the floor for the roaches to get stuck on.
I just moved here from NY, Karla and Yismi gave me the best possible experience, and they were incredible friendly helping with anything I needed to complete everything that was necessary to start living a new Miami life, apartments are just renewed such as the outside area, I’m loving it so far!!
Upon reading all the reviews, the good and the bad ones, especially, about the people who work in the office, the roaches, garbage, and parking situation, I have dropped Palemtto Place from consideration. It’s a shame that the people in the main office didn’t resolve the issues with the tenants. I will never move to Palmetto Place.
I really like living here. I’m on my 4th year and I’m not looking into moving. Windows are not soundproof so if your neighbors decide to stay up having a blast until 4am on a weekday you will have to invest in a good pair of noise canceling headphones. Other than that whatever service you need it’s taken care of in a timely manner and the staff in the office is very nice and welcoming as well as the maintenance team, always eager to help and with a great attitude.
Don't even think about renting in this apartment. The ladies in the main office are the most rude people I've ever met in my life. Their customer service skills are atrocious. The apartment itself is in poor condition; the floor has begun to peel off, and they expect you to pay for it. You submit a ticket, and they respond 3-4 months later. The building where I was leaving smelled like marijuana all the time. The worst part is that they do not assign you parking, so you must park wherever you can, and finding parking close to your building at night is impossible. Last but not least, be cautious when leaving the apartment. They took 2 months, almost 20+ emails back and forth just to get my deposit refunded. Pretty much avoid this place !!!!
-They exploit they’re own tenants through an outside tow agency online parking. They can’t even measure / Mark a regulation parking spot You are only allowed guest 14 days out of the month That’s right orange stickers and towing for residents and guest -Rude staff the most unprofessional I’ve ever encountered -unorganized -Disturbing sanitation as trash is left in bins right out side your unit also controlled by out side contractor who misses trash collection days regularly the halls remind me of slum dog millionaire If don’t don’t want to be harassed do yourselve a favor and pay the few extra bucks and go with a rebuttable apartment complex
