Beautiful park! Great for walking with a paved walk around the water, but the disc golf course is incredible. This was my first time playing disc golf and I feel bad fornither courses to follow. This set a high bar. It's a lot of fun and I look forward to coming back. Enjoy this amazing park!
I passed by this park by accident on my way home one day, and came back today to check it out. I'm so glad I did! There's a lake with exercise equipment all around it, Frisbee golf, lots of greenery, birds, lizards, bees. There are also soccer nets as well. I think I'll come back again next week for a picnic or something. Definitely a great place for adults to spend time. I don't recommend this place for kids because there isn't a whole lot to do for them here, no slide, swingset, playground, etc., and there are also a lot of bugs like mosquitoes, seriously they ate me alive!
It is a very challenging disc golf course with tight lines, and thick rough. Make sure your discs are inked! Plenty of bugs too. It's not called The Green Gauntlet for nothing, only a third of the course is Par 3. I played the course during the 2021 PDGA AM Worlds.
This is my second time going to this park to walk. I like the exercise equipment stationed around the park and the many trails you can take. It very serene there.
This is a go to for family fun. We regularly bring our 18month son here to play in the open field or to play Frisbee golf with us. It is stroller friendly but does have some challenging terrain. Great 18 hole course with 2 tees and baskets for each hole. Good combo of open, wooded, and water hazard holes. I'd say it's not a beginner course though as the dense forestry can create lost disc or disc hunting struggles. Beautiful and well maintained with bathrooms at front. Also a nice paved walkway around the lake with gym equipment for those who don't Frisbee golf.
very nice! makes me want to play disc golf, appears to be a very good course. nice paved walking trail around the water with numerous exercise stations.
Love the Green Gauntlet Disc Golf Course. Cart friendly course. Mostly wooded with some open holes.
I go here to walk the dog on the 1/2 mile trail around the pond, it's safe and there are rest rooms. for the active person -- there's a disc golf course in the woods, great trails to walk during the summer heat.
Clean, well maintained plenty of parking. Also includes a lake and a 9 hole disc golf course Restrooms: They're usable.
First time to come disc golf. Wife and I and a 8 and 4 year old. Beautiful place to just walk around and play disc golf. Weird thing though, quite a bit of broken glass on some of the trails. Watch your kids when they get running around. Great place for nature found a big black snake while getting disc out of brush. Pay attention. Will be back for sure soon!
