Palmetto Specialty Transfer

DO NOT use this company for moving. In February they quoted me almost 2k to move all of our things to a storage unit while our house was being built. Our stomachs were sick watching the three careless movers throw our belongings around. They did not fit everything in their truck although they told me what size I would need and they left our old house completely trashed when we had to close the next morning. Our storage unit was packed horribly- we hired a new company to move us into our new home and they said they could not believe a moving company packed it like this. The new company fit everything in their truck with plenty of room. They were on their phones the entire move and took triple the amount of time that the new company did. As we were unpacking our things this week, several items are broken, torn, have scratches and our stainless refrigerator is completely ruined. A vanity I have had my entire life and has been through several moves is completely broken. The owner’s response was that he would come back the next day to repack our unit but we would need to secure another unit and “that’s just how they do it”. A complete waste of money and now our things are ruined.

Tyler and his team were great to work with. Quality and overall experience was top notch. I used Palmetto for a local move and some pakcing of a 4 bedroom house. They completed the move in 1 day. The move team had a great attitude, which made the move day less stressful. I would recommend Palmetto Transfer to anyone looking for moving services.

Moved 8 times over the last 37 years and these were the best movers we've had so far. Tyler and his team did a great job at a very fair price. I would use them again!
