Great view and beautiful park. Lots of clean bathrooms and large new playground. They have great performances at the bandshell
Nice historic park in the middle of the small town of Fruitport. A modern boat launch, bathrooms, covered picnic table area, a lot of room to play catch or frisbee. And go fishing in Spring Lake.
Great little park with a lot to do. There is a lake next to the park for fishing and water activities. Nice little playground to play with your kids. Fruitport old fashion days in the summer with carnival games and rides. They have a band shell with various activities like family movie nights. You can even go to the library next to the park and enjoy a book. As I said lots to do.
This park is extremely underrated. Ann LaCroix was extremely nice in explaining the details of the reservation which goes into processing on March 1st, prior to that in February, also decides what the park rate is going to be. The facilities were clean, slight ding for comment purposes, I would say is the tables need to be replaced and upgraded, they are getting older. There is nothing wrong with the tables just they need to be upgraded they've shown their usefulness. But other than that, if we had tablecloths already to go. They were over a dozen tables that were able to be sat at, and 2 that we are able to used for food that had no seats up against the wall by the kitchen. They do have small kitchen facility but I cannot comment on that due to the fact we do not use that particular part. Each table was ample size and able to be used for up to 8 adults. The bathroom facilities were extremely clean and comfortable and easily accessed by wheelchair. They just recently put in new kids playground equipment which the kids had an absolute blast on including a couple of adults. The grass was well kept up. The boat launch is busy, and there seem to be spaces for up to 20 vehicles and trailers. It was a busy weekend with the start of Coast Guard festival and an absolute gorgeous day outside. Plus they have an overflow parking at the top of the park for extra placement. There was ample parking for our group along with other bystanders that were coming and going. They had a fishing pier head that people were able to cast out a line. Overall for the size of the park is extremely five star rated, but maybe a slight ding to getting upgrades on the picnic tables. My group had roughly about 60 people at it, and they commented they would like to come back, so we will! Nice job for Fruitport, well done!
Just seen an awesome band down there called BOM. Always have fun at the Old Fashioned Days. Lots of memories
Fruitport Old Fashioned Days is always fun at this park every Memorial Day. A great park for kids to play and dogs to run.
We love Pomona park! Playground: Super nice playground. Rarely crazy busy. Restrooms: Decently clean restrooms when open.
Had a family reunion here! Room for lots of people and the eating area is covered. There is a big playground for kids! Very nice and relaxing!
It's a very nice Park. Nice playground area. There's a small beach to swim. You can fish from the dock . Boat launch. You could bring the family and spend the day there if you wanted to. There's a store next to the park as well.
Great little spot to get your kayak or paddle board out quickly.
