This hidden gem in the middle of no where has great potential. It seemed like the 2 staff were overwhelmed, clearly 2 more staff were needed. The wait after being seated was lengthy, the food took a long time to arrive. My layered vege bowl should have been good but it was barely warm. The salade was not what I ordered and a side never did come. I felt so sorry for the waitress I didn't complain The next day I tried again, there just aren't any other acceptable restaurants in the area. To reduce the chance of error I ordered cold soup and a different salade. Both were fine. The bread was also very good. How sad the staff is expected to work short, they tried so hard to cope...
Mark is a baking genius! His seeded twists have been hands down my favorite bread for the last ten years. Not to forget to mention the excellent chocolate croissants, scrumptious apple tarts, and rustic baguettes. If you have never had their baking and you are a fan of bread you are seriously missing out.
Hands-down one of the best meals that I have ever had in a restaurant. The atmosphere was cozy and the service was excellent, then we got our food which was simply…. AWSOME!!! Portion size was generous and every bite was delicious. What a pleasant surprise to find such a gem in Adam’s County. The best part was that the owner was not even there and the service and food was this good. What a well trained staff. No standing around gossiping, they were all busy. When the wait staff was not tending to customers, they were wiping counters, and cleaning . What a good testament to the very friendly, young people who were working there. The whole place was very clean, even the bathrooms. WOW, I will definitely return
