Very nice and friendly staff. Went in looking for some grain free dog food and this young man helped me choose some. I told him how picky my dog is and he said she would love Taste of the Wild Dog Pacific Stream with Salmon. I told him I didn’t know but he was right. She loves it. Great customer service.

Been going to Pam for years and years. Mostly for their salt water. They have a decent selection. I do wish their customer service would improve. It has somewhat gone down over the years. It wouldn't be hard to improve the atmosphere with a little happier employees. But for being one of two places to look at salt water stuff. It's not a bad place and the kids love Marco.

Okay this is MY STORE. I love the employees and the service the consistency everything! Pam’s pets is my second home!

This place is outstanding. I’m new to the fish tank world and Sara and Flora helped me understand everything I needed to know about being a new owner. I had my 3 of my 4 starter fish die, but Flora is helping me figure out what went wrong and they are replacing the fish. You can’t ask for better customer service and knowledge of fish. Pam’s will be the place for my fish and pet needs from now own thanks to Sara and Flora. Special shout-out to the rest of the employees, they are friendly and extremely helpful. Pam’s pets is the only pet store in Abilene I would recommend because the employees are amazing

This store is amazing, they have a bunch of supplies for dogs and cats. Flora helped us find a dog food that worked great for our pitbulls skin problems, and healthy treats that he loves! The staff are so amazing and helpful!

We have been going there for a while and they are so friendly, Reagan is great, he's super knowledgeable about fish and he's been helping us set up our first tank. They had everything we needed and a ton of fish to pick from

They have a great selection of insects to feed reptiles. Clean and welcoming atmosphere. Stop in and say hello to their stores mascot A Parrot named Marco

Go to Pet Supplies Plus instead, avoid this place.  I originally visited to get supplies for a new terrarium since I remember how nice this store used to be as a kid. It has taken a turn for the worse, there were several dead Bettas on display and their hermit crabs were in a tank with garden mulch and with only painted shells! After seeing the sad state of the animals on display in the main store section I was browsing the aquarium section only to be stared at by the same creepy man now in a dark corner. I was in the room for five minutes without him saying a word or looking at anything else besides me. After leaving the room he continued to follow me around and pretend to organize shelves as he glared at me.  I quickly grabbed a millet, instead of all the moss, wood and stones that I originally came in for, and left.  I cannot recommend this place less. If you want unhealthy Bettas, dehydrated crabs in toxic shells or 22 dollar spider wood I guess this place is perfect.  You used to be so good Pam's what happened?

Awesome store.  Went in today to learn about fish tanks and Sarah was amazing!  Didn't end up buying today, but I would absolutely recommend talking to her for any fish advice.

If I could put 0 stars I absolutely would I got 3 ghost shrimp from Pam’s about 3 or 4 days ago and I added them to my tank being sure to not add any of the water they came in. My fish all have ick Ichthyophthirius multifiliis now and all of my mollies and smaller species have died. I called Pam’s and informed them of the situation the woman who answered the phone tried to blame it on a water change it the weather changed or even my tank heater when absolutely everything has remained the same except for adding those 3 shrimp in. She then said “okay well I don’t know what you want me to do” she was completely unprofessional, not willing to take responsibility for the fact their tanks are contaminated. I will never return to Pam’s besides that the customer service I received while there was extremely poor. Now I am down about 100 dollars in fish and I have to treat the fish remaining all over 3 shrimp. DO NOT BUY ANY AQUATIC LIFE FROM THIS STORE
