ABIBIFAHODIE Loved the connection and vibe while I was in Dallas. I grabbed a few books and items. We definitely need more places like this in our communities. When I go back to Dallas, I will stop by again.
This place has a world full of charm and authenticity. Books, Sculptures, Afro-Attire, some HS & HBCU tees & shorts, afro-centric jewelry, and other products await your gaze.
This place is truly amazing and needs to be more invested in. It's definitely built by the people for the people, but welcoming to all. There's a lot of culture there as well as entrepreneurship and it's amazing to see. Everyone there is good spirited and ready to help and educate.
I love this store. So much knowledge. Love all the jewelry and accessories. Friendly and welcoming people. I have so much fun Every-time I come. Please be aware though. Don’t come here broke. It will drive you crazy!! They have so much stuff that you would want to buy. So have some funds on you & enjoy
This is a great place to be immersed into black culture from the books, people, artwork, artifacts, clothing and MORE! I will be back. Nice meeting the owner and her daughter. I call them the two A's Signed, NewEra Dallas
Beautiful and great finds. I will be back and I’m telling everyone about this place
Really dope bookstore. Also carries high quality scented oils, hair and skin care products, incense, African art and clothing and a dope HBCU clothing brand! There are also community events held there. Very welcoming environment!
It just feels like home. It's a safe space to be BLACK, and I love it. I was greeted with "hi Queen" from the moment I walked in. I felt myself getting taller and taller because I was with my people, and what was outside those doors didn't matter. Everyone was so polite, inviting, personable, and knowledgeable. I drove an hour to get here and it was worth it. I got a set of waist beads about 9 months ago and have had no issues with them wearing or breaking. I was fitted in the store, and as she was fitting me for them, she affirmed me and spoke life into me and my journey. I also purchased a beautiful fan. The price points are reasonable and the store is so rich in culture and knowledge. I highly recommend investing time and money here. It's in the heart of the black community.
This a very welcoming and warm shop to walk into. There’s plenty of artwork, books, home items, fabrics, clothing, and other goods available here. It’s definitely worth checking out and roaming through when you have the time.
A great place for community events. A large selection of African books, arts, home goods, and more.
