One of the best parks for a fitness photoshoot I’ve ever visited. Stairs, blocks, dips. Amazing place in the middle of big city right by the grove where you can go enjoy the test of the evening right after
Huge, beautiful, different sections, the bathroom can be scary or fun depending on what medications you have in your system
Very vast space to have a picnic, bring the doggies, or play some bball. Very diverse group of people too that come and visit, which is great to see. Most definitely kid friendly with the awesome jungle gyms that they have for the kids. Come prepared with lunch or snacks because you will want to explore the park or at least sit down and let the kids run wild.
Ample parking, clean park, lots of open space and benches and water fountains for people and pets. Love this park!
Love this park and the new lower playground is nice. You can bbq here and have picnics. Not over crowded and Dog friendly. The new sports fields complete the park. There are a few facilities on site that have activities and camps that you can enroll in too. No i don’t work for the park I juts like it and love taking my kid here.
Very busy! Lots of space to spread out and good parking.
Loooove this park. Looks a bit meh from the outside but once you get in there's plenty of grassy areas and shade as well as baseball fields and a soccer field too. Great for chill picnics or walks.
I want to LOVE this park. Many years ago, I DID love this park. Unfortunately it's gone down. It's literally across the street from me. Sadly it's dirty and the homeless have taken over. I literally just tried to take a nice walk this morning, and turned around and left because even in the daytime, it feels unsafe for a single woman walking alone. Better off to stroll at the Tar Pits even though it's smaller.
Currently overrun with intoxicated bum encampments in every corner and littered throughout. It's even more disturbing since there are city of LA children's camps here. Despite investment into nice new soccer fields and never ending work on The Grove Drive border, they have neglected safety and cleanliness.
Has something for everyone. Great circular path for dogs and their owners. Got multiple fields for soccer, football, rugby, etc. Good for birthday party bbqs, chilling on the grass and having a nap, and just wondering about. If you get bored, just cross over the street to the grove. FREE PARKING
