I truly couldn't read the menu, but I did find one item with an English translation which happened to be what I was looking for. The food is freshly made and was very good, proportion and price very good as well. I will definitely try back and maybe use my google translator to better understand the menu options.
Sad that a local place that has always been great decided to be shady. Called ahead to order 4 Sandwiches and asked pricing was told one thing over the phone and when I got there to pick up was more than what was told over the phone. Let her know what we were told over the phone and was told otherwise. The price posted on the wall was what we were told for pricing but were charged more than what the cost on the wall menu was being told It hadent been updated yet. So told one thing over the phone plus posted on the wall yet charged more, for the cost of over charging this time they just lost business going forward from our office. Its too bad.
I stopped in for a Cubano sandwich and some bread. The sandwich was excellent. Fresh bread crisped up with lots of great flavor throughout. The bread was also excellent. I picked up a loaf and some corn bread. It was devoured when I got home. On a scale from 0-10 I would rate this 8.7.
Growing up in Willimantic, we had nothing like this and I feel as though we should have, being a largely Hispanic populated community. I recently moved back to the area and was excited to find this. My ham, egg and cheese was delicious, however we waited over 20 minutes for 2 sandwiches. Of course we couldn’t leave without getting some pastries to try because and while I haven’t tried them yet, I am optimistic. I do however wish, they didn’t look as though they’ve been sitting for days. This spot you can tell, is definitely the spot for sweet bread and water bread… and of course we had to get some and it was delicious and hot and fresh. Lastly, I do wish the owners would take a little more pride in the way their establishment looks. It is very dirty looking. Dark and gloomy, the ceiling has so much water damage it looks as if the tiles are going to come crashing down. If they’re renting that location, they need to speak with their landlord. For a little bakery such as theirs, it would be so beautiful to be vibrant and show pride in their heritage, play some good music.. it would make a world of difference.
We stopped by for a couple of pantries. I asked the lady what she would recommend, and she just laughed. Unfortunately, the pantries were very dry and bland. One of them tasted stale.
I go here every time I come into town. I love the grinders that they have. I get a genoa grinder every time

stopped by to see what they had. waited for a few minutes, no one ever came to the front to greet us or take an order, so we left. wish they would update the space. currently feels dark and unkept. willing to try again another day and see.hownit goes on another try, because the danish in the case looked tasty!
When you walk in, the smell is amazing!! So many delicious items to choose from. Sandwiches are huge. Can't wait to go back.
A great ham sandwich lettuce tomato mayo cheese!!! they also squash the sandwich and it's sooooo good. They didn't have the empanadia warmer lights on so I'll have to re heat anyways but other then that very good, and clean!!!!
