We just left after a month's stay. This is our 6th year to stay at the resort in the fall. We were disappointed that the pool heater was not working. The landscaping needs work. The sticker plants were hard to deal with. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and will probably be back.
My husband and I were there for bike week. We enjoyed our stay at this campground. It was clean and well kept. We do recommend this place if you are in need a campground spot.
We had a great stay with these folks. For bout a week. The lady’s in the office was very helpful and very friendly. The location of the resort was really close to everything. Patches across street was a one minute walk. Their music was noticeable but it was always cut off at a reasonable time. We actually enjoyed setting outside. Awesome time. All good here. Oh yea and very pet friendly.
Park is improving. They were installing new electrical boxes while we were there as campers left. They have added new picnic tables and fixed some of the entrance and exit areas. The pool does need attention and I was confused as to why different campers pay different prices for the same week and I plan to contact corporate. Right now they are very lenient on the parking of 2 vehicles but for all you concerned about the landscaping when they get that done I'm sure 1 vehicle will be strictly enforced. Overall our visit was enjoyable.
Not truly a resort. You have to take your own trash to the dumpsters, and the amenities are truly lacking. The pool is so very nasty. There is sludge/slime on the walls and it feels like a bucket of sand has been dumped in the bottom. Not being treated daily. Broken umbrellas and total lack of maintenance. Sites once had grass, but now there is sand and green mesh...which our dog got tangled up in. Old sprinklers stick up at sites, but they don't work. Electrical boxes are MISSING THE WEATHER COVER....totally exposed to rain. Cable hookups require an adapter, and you have to bring your own. Dog park is outside of entrance...You have to walk down sidewalk to access it. Had trash and broken fencing inside. Gate around resort is broken. This place has SO MUCH POTENTIAL, but someone is NOT maintaining it. This is more of an RV park. When the pool has slime and hair floating around, and you see CUSTOMERS skimming the pool, then you have a problem. Not what was promised from photos, and it's really sad to see the lack of management because the location is excellent. They need management on SITE 24 hours, and they need to get this place fixed up. I was severely disappointed.
We are locals to Panama City and took our Grandbabies to the resort for a fun getaway. We had an amazing time and the staff was very helpful and answered any questions we had. When we packed up to leave, we had a hiccup and our RV would not start. The Maintenance Man, Gypsy came to our rescue with no questions asked. He helped get us up and going so we could get back in town. Thank You Gypsy for all of your help and to all the staff that made our Mini Vacay an amazing one!! We will definitely be back!! As our Grands would say, 100 out of 100 stars!!
This is our 2nd time visiting this place and we really enjoy it so much. This trip we had to reschedule our dates due to my neck surgery not going as planned prior. We assumed we would lose money for days cxl....they were nice enough to allow us to move them around due to the circumstance Then on the way to PCB from OKC our truck tyranny went out literally 3.5 hrs away. We camped at Walmart overnight then had to limp across the street to a Dodge dealership across the street to get straightened out...hence we were late for our check in and then decided to stay an extra day. They moved our dates around again no charge. They truly saved our family summer vacation. Otherwise we maybe wouldn't have been able to stay more than a few days. It just really meant so much to us! Oh and the location here is pretty great also. Beach is literally just across the street. Pool is awesome. Staff is friendly and so helpful.
Second time staying here. Great place and location. Hope to come back again! Nearby activities: Beach access was great.
Friendly staff, use to be very nice, run down now, landscape grass all gone now sand and sand spurs, pool tile nasty, pool closed 4 days during our visit. Laundry room equipment out of order, family room closed, half of front entrance gone, over priced for such poor conditions, dogs unleased constantly even after complaints. Exposed electrical boxes. Cars parked all over campsites which gives it a trashy look. Will not be back, sorry
What a great place to stay. Very close access to the beach. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Campsite are clean and free of sand. Plenty of places to eat and drink nearby. Beach is pure white sand. I highly recommend.
