We frequently go to panera aka st. Louis bread co. This is our favorite location for sure. Clean fast yummy food at a reasonable price. By far the best in stl! We have ordered French onion soup and chicken avacado sandwich was very fresh and healthy. Ordered cheese pizza as well which was quite ok. Nice experience
The people that are really good. The service is excellent. The atmosphere was wonderful and comfortable and clean. They have excellent choices of coffees and other beverages. The only detractor is that the food is very strange it tastes abnormal I mean I know it's all fresh but the combinations even though I travel to various countries don't taste like anything that I've had anywhere before it doesn't taste like German food or French food or Middle Eastern food or Asian food it doesn't even taste like American food so I really have no idea how to put it but it's just this combination of I guess health-nut food which I find the flavor combinations offensive to my palate. Now I do know many people who really enjoy the food there. They say it is the best food they have ever had. And I will agree that it is fresh and clean. So I think if you like to go for that straight-out health food and New age stuff than this is a place for you. If you like eating street food in various countries loaded with flavor and fats and sauces go somewhere else. Vegetarian options: If you're one of those vegetable eaters for vegans this is a place for you Kid-friendliness: The people in the staff there are very good and really great and I really appreciate them Parking: Unfortunately our parking is really hard to get to and there's not a lot of it Wheelchair accessibility: Yes they have this everybody does signs are everywhere Dietary restrictions: I don't have any but I do know sometimes they even asked if you have any they're very forward on that and care about their customers
We were there close to 7 pm on night of Monday the 17th of July. Even though the cashier was currently busy helping with clean up of dining room, she was inattentive of people coming in for a meal. Secondly, after we placed our order instead of asking me if I wanted my receipt, she took it from its printer, crumpled it up and threw it away. I then asked her if I could have a copy of my receipt and she printed me another copy. The food was prepared well and tasted good.
Nice outlet. Friendly crews. Sandwich and salads are nice but there is room for improvement.Food: 3/5
This review refers to the: Paneras/Saint Louis Bread Company at: 15 Progress Pkwy, Maryland Heights, MO 63043 August 29, 2023 This is one of my favorite Paneras/St. Louis Bread Company locations. I go to this location often. It has one of the BEST environments inside. It looks very upscale and classy. It's like eat inside of a rich neighborhood. This place is also well-kept in such manner too. And the food is some of the best made maybe the environment helps me think this too. This environment with its atmosphere could even be a location to MAYBE take a date. I haven't had any problems with the food. The wi-fi here works 90% of the time which means MOST of the time. But, there can be some days where it blatantly doesn't work. The only other problem with this location and this is NOT Panera/ St. Louis Bread Company's fault, but all of that never-ending construction going on in the surrounding area makes this location a pain to get to. And it seems that the construction crew is taking too long to finish what they're doing or don't care; meanwhile hindering businesses in the process and this shouldn't be. I think that such should be against the law! Paneras could be losing a bit of money because of them. Customers that would have come to this Paneras/St. Louis Bread Company might not come because the roads and construction is sort of in the way. But, after you get past the construction, it's a treat to be inside of this Paneras/St. Louis Bread Company environment to eat, relax, use WiFi, etc.
Went through the drive-through today, June 16, 2023 at around 8:15 PM a guy name Ian waited on me. I placed my order very carefully I ask for three you pick twos in the end on one of them I changed it to a whole sandwich and a whole soup so I understood that would not be you pick two. my bill came to $63 and something I asked him for a receipt at the window I had to ask for a receipt he gave me the credit card receipt I said I want an actual receipt of the items I purchased, when he gave it to me he upped charge me for all the soups so I said what is the purpose of you pick two if you get charge regular price for everything he said I thought you wanted Large everything. I said you gave me half sandwiches I ordered two salads, so why would I want the soups to be big soups ? I felt he did it on purpose because he tried to hide the receipts both times. He went to personally fix my soups with no gloves on after touching my credit card. The manager happened to look over at my reaction and shook his head at me. Insult to injury. Bad experience after giving this place another shot
Panera a.k.a. St. Louis Bread Company in the St. Louis metro area is a franchise offering soups, sandwiches, salads, and baked breads and sweets mainly. A warm and inviting atmosphere is a signature of this cafe. Be sure to utilize their mobile app as they were one of the first to implement such technology. They also offer kiosk ordering on the inside or a counter for a more personalized service. The rest of my review will be for this specific location. I was able to get work done while enjoying coffee and a meal. The fireplace was lit and sitting near it made my work feel less stressful. The food was great, the bathrooms were clean, and the atmosphere cozy, yet modern.
Incredibly slow service on a busy Sunday morning. C'mon guys, there is no excuse for this. Refills on coffee creamer jugs were non-existent, no spoons out. The cashier person simply didn't care. The booths and tables were not being cleaned sufficiently. Tons of people were waiting at the food delivery counter.Food: 2/5
Such a great place to relax and eat. The food does take a while to make and that is understandable, patience makes perfection. The general manager Melissa is a sweetheart. The fireplace is a nice touch as well. Their menu accommodates my pescatarian needs as well.
It has been some years since I threw food away. The flat bread was inedible. It was cold. The sauce poured off like water. No identifiable bacon. Vile. Should have known better after the latte debacle this morning. Stay away.Food: 1/5
