Arnold Lynch Funeral Home has been in business since 1918. In 1991 we joined with the Paquelet Funeral Home to remain locally owned and operated. In 2003 the two firms moved into their spacious new building at 1100 Wales Road NE Massillon, Ohio.

Paquelet has helped my family in the burial of 3 family members. Most recently. My Father In Law. Rachel was absolutely wonderful. She helped us so much, from explaining everything so we could understand it completely to answering my text messages super late at night when I thought of something I needed to ask. She treated us with respect and showed so much compassion in our time of grief. You all very lucky to have someone such as Rachel on your team. I'd also like to give a thank you to Elaine. She helped us during the services at the funeral home for a little bit and helped with the catered meal. She was absolutely wonderful. My Grandmother needed some tea, she went out of her way to make a cup of tea for her. Such a sweet person and great at their job!
Rachel Barker was a sweet and kind person. She went over and above to make sure my Grandfather had a military funeral as he had requested. Although it seemed that a few of the details of the funeral were falling apart, Rachel made sure that our family was pleased and felt comforted through the entire process of his funeral. Rachel even checked on us after the funeral was over to make sure everything went well. Thank you Rachel for all patience and overall good customer service. We truly appreciated your good grace during this difficult time.
As a funeral director from another state, I knew just what to look for when I found myself in need of services. I sought out a family-owned funeral home to help me honor my father who passed away just before Christmas. Even before his passing, my initial interaction with Rachel Barker assured me that I had found the right place. Rachel was immediately compassionate and sympathetic. As we moved into the planning stages, she remained available, responsible, and flexible -making adjustments to our travel schedules allowing our family the closure needed. She went above and beyond the call of duty. From the kindness of those who picked my dad up from hospice to David, the music technician, each team member played a part in revering and creating a beautiful celebration of my dad’s life. My father-in-law passed away unexpectedly, and Paquelet Funeral Home was exactly what our family needed to plan quickly and efficiently, without sacrificing any of the honor his life deserved. From the moment we stepped through the door Wayne, and the rest of the staff, treated us like family. No question or phone call went unanswered, no need went unmet, the cost was reasonable, and the service was exactly what we envisioned. Thank you Wayne, Emily, and the rest of Paquelet Funeral Home for your kindness, generosity and care. You made the hardest day of our lives a little brighter, and it meant the world to us.
Rachel Barker has handled all 3 of my immediate family members funerals in the past 13 months. She and her wonderful staff made each one special and unique, just like our loved ones were in life. I only trust this funeral home with my loved ones final wishes to be carried out. I am very grateful for the care and attention to every request we made. Rachel was our funeral director. She felt more like our son's special person . The loss of my son was unbearable, she had compassion and such a kind heart she made not only me but his brothers , sister-in-laws and father feel like our loved one was in perfect hands. Without her guiding us through this I am not sure we would of held it together. Rachel is definitely professional and compassionate about her job and she makes you feel like family . My family worked with Rachel Barker and she was amazing throughout the whole process. She was on top of every detail, very communicative and responsive, and very compassionate. Rachel’s care and hands-on support made everything far less stressful and allowed my family to focus on our eulogies, communication with friends/family, etc., knowing she had all the details covered. The space was very nice as well and they have a large capacity in both wings of their facility. I briefly worked with a couple other folks at Paquelet and they were also very helpful and compassionate. Thanks to Rachel for helping us have the wake that my father intended. Our family felt cared for by Rachel. She was friendly, empathetic, and knowledgeable. Rachel was available throughout the entire process, gently guiding our large family with patience and dignity. We will always be grateful for Rachel and the entire Paquelet staff.
Rachel did an excellent job not only did she make me feel comfortable she went step by step with the whole process. She answered questions and worked with the whole family to make sure we were satisfied with the end results. We had the best person working with us. We appreciate and love Rachel she did an excellent job with my grandmother. I would recommend her as well as this funeral home to anyone who needs that extra love and care during this hard time.
Mr. Paquelet and Chris Breda were very kind and compassionate to my family and me during the loss of our loved ones. Losing those you care about is difficult enough.
