About Us
The Paradis Funeral Home was built in 1871 by Dr. Johnson R. Woodward. Mr. Fred H. Lullmann purchased the home in 1935 from Elizabeth I. Copp and founded the Lullmann Funeral Home. Jules E. and Edith L. Paradis purchased the funeral home in 1948 from Mr. Lullmann and it became the Lullmann-Paradis Funeral Home.
Jules Paradis was a third generation funeral director, who was previously employed by the Paradis Funeral Home in Webster owned by his father, Clarence Paradis. Edith Paradis became a licensed funeral director in 1950 and operated the funeral home with her husband.
Diane H. Paradis purchased the funeral home from her mother and father in 1985. Diane has made many changes to the funeral home since 1985 including remodeling the interior of the building, reconstruction of the porch, adding handicapped accessibility, and the addition of a parking lot on the property.
Bryan J. Givner Sr. joined the funeral home as a licensed funeral director in October of 1999, and purchased the funeral home in July of 2005 with his wife, Eva. Bryan and Diane continue to offer the highest level of service to the community. The funeral home name was officially changed to Paradis-Givner Funeral Home on January 1, 2014.
