The customer service exceeds expectations. Above and beyond. Food is always fresh when I purchase and the prices are unbeatable. You hold a very valuable employee I don’t know her name she is knowledgeable, full of integrity, and always makes you feel welcome and warm.
Fresh produce, huge variety, nice service and very fresh , crunchy Russian style bread I was so happy to enter the store and get a fresh baked smell of the bread Each time is a fresh bread smells
WORST Russian Store and Customer service EVER!!! I used to go here all the time until an incident recently. I bought 2 lbs. of salami that we always buy there, as it’s our family’s favorite and spend $20 on it. When I got home and opened the salami, the outside looked BROWN and the inside was red the whole salami should be red and not brown on the outside. I took a bite and spit it right out, as it had a strange taste and didn’t taste like it usually does. The salami was definitely expired and has gone bad! I called the store and explained the situation and the lady told me to come by the next day and they can replace it for me. I stopped by the following day and bright the salami to show her. She looked at it and told me that she called the owner about the situation and he said there’s absolutely no way that they will replace the salami and will not refund my money at all. She suggested she call the owner on the phone and I can speak with him. She got him on the line and I explained everything to him, to which he interrupted me and basically said I was whining about the product and he’s not going to do anything about it and that I can just leave the store and started yelling at me. I told him that it’s better if he were to replace the salami or refund my money instead of our whole family eating it, getting food poisoning and then us suing him and the store. To which he replied, “Sue me!” I hung up the phone and walked away. I will NEVER step in to that store ever again!!!! The owner doesn’t know what Customer Service is and that he runs a business in America, NOT in Russia!!!! Worst place EVER! Don’t go there!!! Be careful and watch what you eat, otherwise you could get food poisoning from expired items there, especially deli meat. Be VERY CAREFUL!
The chocolate I bought were rock hard, you can see they were really old. Also 6/7/23 I came at 7:48pm and the door was locket, while I can see customers inside. If you guys work to 8:00 then have the door unlocked to 8:00pm. And also don't mix the old and new candy together but throw the old one away.
Amazing place, unbelievable tea selection with teas from around the world. Instant coffees also. Tried perogies and Slovak ancestry wife said very authentic.
I liked this store before. Today though I totally forgot it's not an American store. My daughter got Danish. Mold, no expiration date, welcome back home! I read the reviews and I see that the owner doesn't give a ....... about people complaining.
Fantastic store, amazing employees, delicious food, i love how they cook a barbecue fresh bread, fresh food to go,and many more, highly recommend.
I would not recommend to buy anything that doesn't have a clear expiration date on it. I always bump into expired products. But that's part of the game . You gonna have a lot of unnecessary arguments if you want to return them. Prices are generally lower than in other European stores. Sausages that made locally are really good. Sometimes they have pretty good piroshki and shashlik. Several kinds of deli food is a big plus for this store. 3% fee for using a credit card is ridiculous, but when you don't have much competition you can do whatever you want.
Reason price for goods. Good choice of meat, candies, milk products, smoked meat/fish. Fresh bread . Friendly cashiers special who’s spoke
Extremely rude owner. He use obscene language to customers if there is any claim about products or services. Stay away of this place
