You have to understand what your getting yourself into. If you want a creepy motel in the middle of nowhere with a tiny bathroom that you can't sit on the toilet straight cause the sink is in your way Or the shower stall that looks like something out of the movie saw. Than this is the place for you. The portable air conditioner works like a champ and the huge 24in TV makes me feel like I'm at a 5 star resort. 10/10 would recommend for the adventure aspect
Hotel staff were friendly and polite, the rooms were clean, the bathroom was clean and featured strong pressure and hot water. They have nice picnic tables and grilling facilities. A great “no-frills motel” located a quick drive from nearby attractions. I recommend and would stay again.Rooms: 3/5
We will never stay here again. Very deceiving pictures. So small. New owner kept us 1/2 hour talking about how rich he was with many other properties. An aluminum type thing to place your clothes. No TV access because there was no cable. No nightstands. The beds had plastic on them under the sheets so you felt like you were sleeping on plastic. We could not take a shower without shower shoes on because the floor of the shower was very disgusting. We could not be more disappointed. Stay away from here because you will not like it.
Clean rooms. Maintained property. The owner isn't around much but is real nice. Beds are clean and very comfortable. Room and bathroom is kind of cramped but for the money, it's not bad at all. Also room has a mini fridge and a microwave. Dresser is nonexistent so keep your suitcases out.Rooms: 5/5
I have been staying here in my RV for 5 plus years staying 5 to 6 months at a time. I realize this is a motel but they have 1 RV spot out back. The first few years were great. However this place has gone completely down hill. This is now a place where the owners invite there friends to stay and throw parties every weekend playing loud music and screaming and yelling all night long until the early morning hours. I stay there because I work in the area throughout the summer working 6 days a week getting up at 6am every day, I always pay my rent on time and I am quiet and respectful. I have even brought them baked goods on several occasions. I started asking them to turn down the music and sometimes they would and sometimes they wouldn't. Finally mid way through this summer they said stop asking us to turn it down if you don't like it then leave. Is this anyway to treat your guest who has been giving you his hard earned money for 5 plus years. The owners Felix and Sharon are completely disrespectful and only care about themselves and the guests that are partying with them. Don't waste your time and money staying here. If you want to be treated like a guest and with respect then stay somewhere else. There are plenty of nice motels in the area. I am so disappointed in the lack of decency they showed me.
Absolutely the worst place ever. Nothing like their pictures. We have never felt so unsafe ever. When we arrived , their was no one around. We had to ring the bell on the desk and wait. We received a room that was the size of a match box. No dead bolt on the door, just a basic pickable lock. No door on for the bathroom an accordion door bel open by a bungee cord. No dresser, a rusty locker instead. And a portable AC unit in what was supposed to be our closet. And a folding chair. We left to go grab something to eat and when we came back we drove right by it because it was dark as hell. Not even the sign was lite up. We left and found a better hotel for cheaper and EXTREMELY cleaner and MUCH safer. The owner also told us he wouldn’t be around because he doesn’t work the weekends, to just leave the key in the mailbox.
Kreepy horrible Halloween display in the woods facing our room. The location of this hotel/motel is already remote, and to be greeted by ghouls in August was unsettling. Thank goodness we arrived during daylight! The room - plywood ceiling, all dark wood, mismatched wallpaper and tile in the bathroom, toilet that keeps running. All speaks of neglect. The room & beds are clean and the door locks so we will stay the night and be on our way. Just weird. No paradise here.
Absolutely loved my stay. We rented a cabin called bud. We had our own table out front of our cabin. A fire pit right across from it. And everyone was so nice. And the pricing was decent. I most certainly will be back at the end of June and in the future.
A quaint motel. Great price, nice setting. Nearby activities: Lots of outdoor recreation.
