Decent selection of liquor for a wine bar but the atmosphere is lacking. 2005 club lighting and hotel chairs, not exactly my taste. Very fast bartenders, a lot of staff on hand. The outside area is too bright for nighttime, but that's probably more so to the strip it's in vs the bar itself. Very clean though, bathrooms too.
Nice set up and love the idea of the bar inside and out! But some of the employees older ones I should say were absolutely rude! One of them I believe was a manager brunette, short lady... she was getting upset with an employee right in front of me and another customer during their tasting event. I felt this was extremely unprofessional and it made me feel awkward. Then later I witnessed, another lady blonde, short lady yelling at an employee for not standing in the right spot. Little did that lady know that the employee was just putting something away and had been standing in the right spot the whole time! This stuff should be handled in the back, NOT IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS! I wish I would have taken both of their names so I didn't have to describe them. This could have been a great experience. I won't be going back there again.
My wife Terri and I just celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary at Paradise Wine. Leigh and all the dedicated staff at Paradise made our dinner party most memorable. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire evening, from our private dining room for our close friends, to the exceptional catered dinner and wine pairings recommended by Leigh. Our lifelong friends were very impressed by the courtesy, professionalism and attention to detail shown by all involved! If you are looking for a unique venue for your next event or dinner party, we sincerely recommend that you consider Paradise Wine. You will not be disappointed!
Super cool find. A great wine store with an actual Bar inside and outdoors. The Bar staff makes some of the most creative and eclectic drinks in the area. Ask for Oz. The man is knows his stuff. Did I mention there is Bar in a wine/liquor store! Genius!
How was my experience? Awful! Two bottles bought and one served that were rancid, I had to fight to get the charges removed from my AMEX card. The so-called "food" was terrible and they allow cigar and cigarette smoking which should have been a non-starter. Leigh and Blane are the owners and, frankly, they are as courteous and friendly as their staff... who must have been taught customer service by an ISIS interrogator. NO THANKS!!
Nice place with a good selection but was disappointed when I showed up for an event that apparently had fallen through but they hadn't done their due diligence to remove it from the website or inform people via email that the event has been closed or canceled! When we arrived the only information we were given is that they "dropped the ball" but no one did anything or offered any supplement for our inconvenience. I was able to meet the owner and he dismissed my concern and made it clear that our thirty dollars for the event was chump change he didn't need. Not impressed with their "customer service"
Amazing food!! Knowledgeable staff, fun music nightly. Get the "Up in Smoke" cocktail and cheese tray with the above and beyond bacon wrapped shrimp. Oh! And the deviled eggs will surprise you! AND the smoked salmon wontons.
Leigh and Blaine were very gracious, hospitable and generous to the NextGen Committee for the Shelter here in Naples - we hosted our young professional Purple Party at Paradise Wine and everyone had a great time! Great atmosphere, food, drinks and entertainment - all around a wonderful evening. Thank you again Leigh and Blaine for your generosity and significant contributions to such an important local cause. I also frequently pop in to purchase wine and Antonio is super knowledgeable / always helps me pick something that caters perfectly to what I'm seeking -- and my husband and I love coming by with friends for a couple of drinks - all in all you can't go wrong
These people don't know how to run a business. They'll be gone before May 2017. A friend & I went there just to see Deb & The Dynamics. Right from the start we were stereotyped & told we couldn't sit at the small "wine bar" unless we were going to "drink wine." I was driving so I said I will drink water & my friend will drink cocktails. The answer was "not at this bar, it's for wine only... I'm here to make money." So I agreed to have a $10 glass of cab & my friend asked for a Cosmo $14. The BOY said I cannot fetch you a cosmo you will have to get it yourself at the other bar. After she did, he asked ME to open a tab with a credit card. She gave him her card & he poured my wine. There were 2 pitchers of water in front of me, so I asked for a glass. He gave me 1/2 glass. I sipped the wine throughout the hour again I was the driver, my friend finished her cocktail. The boy then asked if I wanted to "close out my tab." What? No...my friend said "I would like another cocktail." He said you will have to get it yourself, I cannot leave the wine bar." he left several times in the hour. He went to close out the tab, & right afterwards the manager/owner Leigh came over to me & said "are you STILL just drinking water?" I took offense to this & said "no, I purchased a wine...do you want me to get up out of this chair?" She threw her hands up & walked away." Not like there were people waiting to sit down, the place wasn't that crowded. When my friend approached her about the treatment we were receiving all Leigh could say was "I'm running a business, I've got to pay the band." SO YOU HUSTLE PEOPLE? & RUN THEM OUT? IF YOU WERE SMART, YOU'D HAVE CHARGED A COVER WITH A 1 DRINK MIN. We're locals & will put out the word that this place is a RIP OFF. Good luck catering to the snowbirds who go home in April. You're business will surely fold in this very transient town.
Awesome new chef. Full moon party with great Regea band. Carribean style chicken dinner was beyond belief. Haven't tasted a meal this good since traveling in the BVI. Great job Ted, We'll be back.
