Paramount (established in 1988) is a health insurance company affiliated with ProMedica health system. We're located in northwest Ohio, specifically in Maumee, OH.
At Paramount, we offer health insurance to both large and small groups, fully insured and self-insured in northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan. We also cater to Medicare (Paramount Elite) subscribers in northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan. In 2013, we expanded our Medicaid product (Paramount Advantage) to service those living in the entire state of Ohio. And in 2014, we began offering insurance to individuals and families on the marketplace exchange on Healthcare.gov.
We maintain an accreditation by the NCQA – the National Committee for Quality Assurance – for our Ohio HMO, Elite and Advantage products. Our parent company, ProMedica, is ranked the second most integrated health system in the U.S. and No. 1 in the Midwest.
