Going to the Paramount is always a great time. The last show I saw there was Six. Oh my goodness, it was great! I totally suggest giving it a go next time it's in town or if you have the chance. But I've never seen anything that wasn't wonderful at the Paramount. And all the chairs have been redone recently!
It was an amazing venue with upstairs and downstairs, plenty of walk around space to see your favorite bands from different angles on the ground floor. Only thing that disappointed me was that the audio seemed to have been a rush job and some of the artists of the band didn't seem too pleased with having to switch out the mics. At one point, there was a pretty loud pop, and I could only assume that a speaker had blown.
Saw parliament funkadelic here and it was the best concert of my life; did not want it to end! This theatre is stunningly beautiful. What a special experience.
I watched "Six" here, and it was amazing! My seats were all the way up on the third floor on the upper mezzanine, but I could still get a clear view of the stage. You wouldn't be able to see the performer's expressions clearly, but it was a decent price for the seat.
This was my first experience going to this venue! I bought the tickets back in November, and more glad we did because it was a sold out event! When we got there, we weren’t quite sure where our seats were going to be so we asked the young gentleman, and he directed us to our seats were going to be which is pretty far away up in the mezzine section! He began explaining to me how to get to my seats, and then he kindly took out two tickets from his pocket and asked if I wanted to be upgraded to the front row balcony seats! How kind of him that was very very awesome as you could see in my photos we were very very close and had great seats. Thank you so much turned out he was the manager. We were so grateful and would like to thank the manager from the bottom of our hearts
This is a very beautiful venue. I’ve been here for many different types of shows. When it’s a seated show the space can be tight for tall people. When it’s a show that has standing room only there is enough space to dance and move about. There are multiple bars, but it can get very busy during intermission, or after the opener. The bars don’t stay open the full show, they close about one hour before the show ends. The bathrooms are down a flight of stairs, but there are plenty of stalls so it’s normally fast. Parking can be very tough in this area. I recommend taking the light rail.
Just saw Six here with my besties, must-see!!! We were way in the back so I couldn't see their facial expressions but the show was great, love the music and coreography. This theatre is gorgeous and for it being a packed show, it didn't take long at all for us to filter out and get to the merch line. Will have to go again and get closer seats! How cute is this tiny boot!!!
Very spacious venue for events with lots of seating. Screens that show the stage and chairs are available in the lobby. Multiple concession places located on each floor.
Great, small theater. Four stars because I'm not used to being herded like cattle into a musical. We were in and out like it was a $0.99 movie. I'm more accustomed to a leisurely walk into a theater for a live performance. The staff herding us outside were amusing, saying "hurry, or you'll miss the show" and "smush in we're not social distancing". The ushers inside were very friendly and it's such a small theater that it was easy to find our seats. We purchased tickets online days before and the show was amazing! Our view of the stage was great and we didn't have super expensive tickets but we were on the first level, stage right, just under the balcony.
What a fantastic venue. Architecture is beautiful, staff was very kind. I will go back and see other shows here.
