Fantastic tour getting to see behind the scenes of a working film studio and especially as historic as Paramount Pictures. Rachael our tour guide was brilliant in showing us around and explaining the history of the lot and the various areas of the studio. Rachael tailored the tour as to films and TV shows we have watched and enjoyed and added highlights from these and was a delight to talk too.
What a treat to get to the chance to visit a working studio and Paramount Pictures did not disappoint. Very interesting and fun to see where some of the greatest movies were shot. Our guide was very charismatic & knowledgeable, would definitely recommend this tour if visiting Hollywood.
The tour was worth the money, if you have never been to a production studio location before. Tons of great photo opps. Our guide was incredibly sweet and our group was fun. The gift shop and cafe was great.Visited onWeekdayWait timeUp to 10 minReservation recommendedYesPrice for adult entry$31+
We've made the tour on a Thursday at 11 a.m. on october the 11th. Nick did a really great job and he is a truly movielover, which was a great bonus to the tour. You could tell that he was enthusiastic about films. Thank you Nick and Greetings from Germany! To the Tour itself: It lasts around 2h and the Focus was on driving around and a little less walking. Mostly about history of Paramount Pictures and some famous actors and regisseurs. The most Facts are coming from the tourguide, with extra pictures and videos shown on an ipad. You will also get earbuds as an extra, but they were not necessary in my opinion. We were also able to enter a Soundstage, which was really interesting to look at. Parking: Costs 22$, payable by card or cash. The Lot A is on the other side of the street and you can only enter from one side! the other side, which is the exit, is equipped with spikes to avoid entering. There is also a Lot B a little bit down the Road, which was not in operation at this day. Be aware that at this moment the strike of one of the guild is still in progress, so come a little bit earlier to avoid to be late and also have a look of them to support their fight for the great work they are doing!
If you love movies, then this is for you! What a great morning we had at the Paramount Studios. Our guide was great, and was engaging throughout. We learned a lot about the history of moving pictures, and some of the secrets behind them. We got to hold a real Oscar, sit on Forrest Gump’s bench, go into a soundstage, and see some of the studios historic events like the Bronson Gate.
Friends asked me, how come I didn't choose to go for Warner Bros' Studio Tour, cause they have Superman and Batman........ DC super heroes. But you know what, I actually liked how Paramount's tour showed you "the history of movie making", the authentic journey of 100-year of movie industry. And I also personally liked the way experience of holding the REAL oscar trophy in my hand !!!
We had such a great time at the Studio Tour. Our Tourguide Chris was not only very nice but he had a lot of information and stories for us. You really felt his passion for the history not only of the movies but how they are made. It was just very fun and we saw a lot of great parts of the paramount lot. If you can take the time and explore!
One of the best affordable studio tours out there. Extremely immersive with knowledgeable tour guides who can answer almost any question you have about the lot or any film or movie ever produced there. It’s crazy how much they know. They are either extremely knowledgeable or making it all up. I believe it’s the former. You’ll be surprised at how many films have been filmed here and in literally every spot. The most unique feature here is the parking lot. Literally. The parking lot. Go ahead and ask about it. You will be blown away.
If you are in Hollywood you must visit this film studio which is still located there most of them moved out. Book a tour in advance. Tour guides are usually good and informative. Everyone will find something related to the movie they liked. It is quite exciting to see sound stages and other filming locations. Cafeteria provides food quality coffee. Selection of souvenirs could be better.
What a fun place filled with insight of different movies and shows from old to current. Getting to Paramount was easy just off the freeway and parking is across the street for $20. It's a safe location, I loved it. The entrance we received a lanyard with Studio Guest pass which we were able to keep. Waiting for our tour guide we were able to look around and see the different movies that were a part of Paramount and some Oscar's. Our guide, Billy was fun, entertaining. Our tour was very fun. Sat at Forrest Gump's bench! and was able to take many photos! Paramount at the end had a gift shop with a Coffee Bean. Saw the prop warehouse. The best part was Optimus Prime rig and Bumblebee. Recommend getting your tickets in advance, pick your day and time of tour. Went on a Friday, wasn't busy.
