This place is great. If you're looking for something to do on a hot day with your kids this is the place to go. This place caters to kids with 2 small water slides a lazy riverpòol.
Wonderful little place with a great price! Super great value! Wasn't too packed, concession prices alright, lots of seating and a great water playground for young children. Lazy river has a very limited capacity, water is heavily chlorinated. But lifeguards were on it! And we were able to come in with a bag and a stroller. We definitely will come back!
Nice park. Lots of shaded areas. Typical Mediocre water park food. Good prices. I will be back!Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot surePrice for adult entry$6–10
This park is a great price and I had a lot of fun the last time I came with my kids but this past Sunday I came with my kids and brought some snacks which I was told I couldn’t bring in which I understand so they confiscated them and said they would give them back at the end of our visit. Well a girl at the bag checking desk ended up eating our snacks brownies and she also let another person in line bring snacks in for her son which was older than my son. I was very frustrated! However I love price and atmosphere.
Been here 3 times. I live close and would go more often but waterparks are crazy sometimes lol. You do have to correct other kids behaviors but it wasn’t as bad as my last experience with Blue Bayou. The price here is affordable. My 4 year old loved it. Manager today was really helpful tending to a situation. The staff was very attentive and managed situations well safety and sanitation issues. I believe our baby got in free or discounted. My husband was using some measuring chart while paying for tickets so I assume that was the case. There are two slides you can’t ride if under 40”. I thought it was 38.. but maybe 40” ans under could be charged less while over 40” charged a bit more. Because they can’t utilize the whole park. I won’t go on a weekend again though.
We came for our first time on a sunday while we were in town visiting some family. I am now envious of Livingston parish residents! 8 dollars for district residents and 10 dollars out of district residents. Great value for small families with young kids. My son got in free because he was under 30" in height. There is 2 large waterslides, one lazy river, and one large play area for the kids to play with all the water fun small kids could ask for. All tables with umbrellas are included in the price. I am now considering getting residents in my parish to pressure our local government to develop one like this here instead of the underwelming "splash pads" they keep building. Great job on this water park Livingston parish
Great on the wallet and not very crowded!!!! Lots of safety staff and crew. Friendly crew and lots of parking!!!! 10 bucks a head for all day for out of towners. And great for little ones 1-5
Everything was great. Nice splash pool and toddler slides with 1 bigger kid slide. A lazy river they have innertubes in two size for. They allow locker and life jacket rentals as well. Lots of seating in and out of the shade. Son is still a little scared of the water but we made some babysteps towards fun. Life guards were alert and active very quickly. Prices aren't outrageous but we didn't eat there so no idea on that. Pool water was cool, float river was warm. Will be going again soon.
Pros: it's local and affordable when you just need a place to cool off. There is usually ample seating. Cons: if there were some adults around supervising the place, that would be great. Everything is run by teenagers. That in itself would be fine, except many of them are not mature enough to supervise themselves. For instance: there was a female lifeguard turquoise shirt, long brown ponytail and male lifeguard yellow shirt, bushy brown hair both sitting at the stairway to the lazy river. They were too concerned about socializing with each other for either of them to hand the inner tubes to patrons as they usually do, so people were just walking up and getting their own. At one point, the boy started playing with the girl's feet. There have been several instances this summer where the lifeguards were busy gossiping instead of paying attention to the crowd. The very first rule posted in several locations around the property says that behavior or language inappropriate for a family environment can lead to removal from the park. It would behoove management to hold their employees to the same standards. Most of the time the music that the staff plays is just background noise, but once in a while the kids running the concession stand will decide to turn it louder to an obnoxious volume. Yesterday it sounded like they were trying to DJ at a club. Management: teens and young adults are capable of behaving professionally and in a mature manner. But it's up to you to make sure they understand those expectations. It makes for a very unpleasant experience when parents are there with their kids and feel like they should be babysitting the lifeguards. Safety concern: the blue faster slide has what looks to be a larger than normal leak where two of the pieces are joined. It appears as though someone has attempted to tape underneath to keep it from leaking, but the tape has come loose and is just hanging there.
Very kid Friendly up to ages 11 not a real big park. It's $8 when you live in denham $10 if you don't... it's packed sometimes & you have to wait in line for capacity to die down.Visited onWeekendWait time30–60 minReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$6–10
