The Parent Institute at Lourdes University engages in interdisciplinary education, research, and outreach to inform policy-makers and promote practices for parents, students, and professionals that empower and support parents in their primary responsibility for the care, nurturing, and education of their children.
The Parent Institute Advisory Council includes a group of community leaders, educators, and Lourdes University faculty and administration committed to developing programs and coordinating events that celebrate and advance the role of parents in their children’s lives.
The Parent Institute of Lourdes University is the brainchild of former Lucas County Juvenile Court Judge, Andy Devine.
