Park Baptist Church is comprised of baptized believers in the Lord Jesus Christ. We strive to do everything, whether word or deed, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ through the power of the Spirit to the glory of God the Father. We believe that God has given us a perfect record in the Holy Scriptures to provide us with all that we need for life and godliness. We desire to live as a holy and faithful community as we seek to fulfill the Great Commandment:
“Which commandment is the most important of all?” 29 Jesus answered, “The most important is, ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. 30 And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ (Mark 12:28b-29).
And the Great Commission:
18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20)
God has given the church to his people to encourage them to fulfill both His Great Commandment and His Great Commission. We pray that you will consider visiting our church and join us in living for the glory of God.
