I went to Park City High School for my Junior year. The staff was nice, teachers were friendly. The only complaint that I have is that when I was on my way to class, a white male student was standing around with three of his friends another boy, and two girls and said to me "Go back to your own country!" I am an African American and I felt pretty insulted by that. I should of went to the staff but due to previous bullying I've experienced at other schools and staff doing nothing about it I decided not to report it. Hopefully, the schools now are doing a better job of teaching students that everyone is human and to treat everyone the same.
Lots and lots of money put into building a very nice looking school, now spend some on snow removal, parking lots are very slick and still have an inch and a half of slushy snow and had to keep crossing through five to six inches to get to and walk on side walls. NOT ADA ACCESSIBLE. PS get some brighter lights mark your drives and signage better.
We had a Democratic conference at the school. Unfortunately, it wasn't very disability-friendly and as Secretary of the disability Caucus, I was disappointed about the accommodations.
Went to a grandsons football game. It was SO cold! We had fun anyway.
