Place-based learning is an important part of the curriculum, as it helps students learn to take care of the world by understanding where they live and taking action in their own backyards and communities.
PCCS will encourage teachers and students to use the school grounds, community, public land, and other special places as resources as an extension of the classroom, and partnerships are planned with organizations such as Thousand Islands and Kaukauna Utilities.
