Park Lane Tavern - Hampton

Description

Guests of Park Lane Tavern will discover a unique dining experience set in a vibrant, high energy European tavern atmosphere. The attention to detail is impressive, as we've incorporated numerous elements of taverns originating from some of Europe’s finest cities. The exterior is modeled after the classic taverns of London, while most of the interior furnishings and fixtures were purchased in Europe to guarantee their authentic look and feel. Whether it’s with our design and decor, atmosphere, beverage or cuisine, we invite you to experience a bit of Europe, which has inspired us.

History of Park Lane:
For any visitor to Europe, the pièce de résistance of luxury is embodied on Park Lane in London. Much of its fame results from being the second most valuable property in the British edition of Monopoly (in the US version this property is Park Place). From country lane to luxury living, Park Lane is the perfect path through London.

The Atmosphere:
Taverns are very popular in Europe where they are considered the center of social life. We’ve embraced this same culture at Park Lane Tavern; a place of hospitable surroundings, wonderful food and drink, and friendly conversation. Making us the perfect place where friends, family, locals and visitors alike unite.

Fare:
When deciding on lunch or dinner, classic american favorites like Knob Creek® Bourbon Cracked Pepper Steak & Makers Mark® Bourbon Chicken can be found on our menu. Traditional European fare such as Boddington’s® Fish & Chips, Shepherd’s Pie, Jagerschnitzel, or Bangers & Mash is offered as well. In the mood for something light? Why not try some of our popular Small Plates, like our Magner’s® Corned Beef Sliders or our Tavern Combo. Gourmet burgers and sandwiches, fresh salads, hand pressed Panini’s and delicious sweets round out the menu. Getting hungry? Feel free to get a “head start” on your visit and check out our Menu for all our wonderful choices.

Libations:
The centerpiece of Park Lane is our beautiful handcrafted bar, where the lively energy of any given outing originates from. European optic pourers enhance the authentic look and feel of the bar and as is the case throughout Europe, we serve most brands of beer in their unique glass. A complete list of our expansive offerings of fine libations can be found in our “Beverage Bible”.

By combining American inspired dishes, with a vast array of European crafted spirits and outstanding service, it is our hope to bring that “Guest” feeling to our Taverns. We invite you to experience for yourself that European tradition which has inspired us…

I love Wednesdays. Wine, whiskey, and Wellington Wednesday. It’s amazing. The atmosphere is great. You don’t have to get too dressed up to experience some amazing English food and drinks. The service was fast and friendly. I’m talking fast, so if you have a movie to get to, they got you. The portions are good and prices fair for the experience. Highly recommend if you want to impress. Only thing is I think maybe their AC was broken because it was TOASTY in there but otherwise a great experience. Our server was India and she was phenomenal. We got a draft beer with our appetizer, wine with our dinner, and a PB&J whiskey for desert. Most excellent
This restaurant is amazing! I have been to the location in VA beach which is also great but this one is better! The food and drinks are delicious of course, but the restaurant itself is nice!! The bar is the beautiful, probably the nicest bar I have ever seen. Me and my boyfriend had the fried pickles and goat cheese dip which were delicious and came out so quickly. Sarah is an amazing bartender! She was so busy but we never had to wait for anything because she was so fast. We will definitely be coming back soon!!!!
If I could give this spot a 3.5 that would be my initial rating. It's not a 3, yet not quite a 4. This was our first time at Park Lane Tavern, the decor was lovely, however the restaurant was hot and smelled a little like old grease. It also didn't feel like the cleanest restaurant in the world, the table we sat at was a bit sticky. When it's 87 out you don't really want to sit in a warm stuffy building, maybe they were having AC problems, so I can't hold that too much against them. That aside we did enjoy our lunch. The alpine chicken sandwich was delicious. The French dip itself was good, but the au jus was flavorless. The fries left a little to be desired, but the haddock was tasty. The service was sub par, especially considering the restaurant wasn't too busy. Prices were fair for portion size. All in all I would give this spot another try.
Lovely tavern with a friendly, fast, and very efficient staff. The decor is lovely and very relaxing, so if you bring friends, family, or come solo as I did, it'll be an enjoyable time nonetheless. Their beer selection is also a wonder as they are one of the few places that have a variety of my personal liking to choose from. Definite kudos to Sarah and Ally working the bar when I arrived. They were busy and yet didn't miss a beat with any order from the patrons that I witnessed anyway. Will be visiting again and highly recommend. *My apologies if I misspelled any names wrong.*
Loved this place! Lucky for us we dined on Wednesday which is beef Wellington night. Lively place and nicely decorated. Great service. We ordered wings, the monte cristo and beef Wellington. The mashed potatoes were delicious and the beef Wellington gravy is nice a flavorful, just the way I like it! There's a huge beautiful bar in the center if the restaurant.
Great service. Maddie is a super waitress! Food was seasoned and delicious, nice atmosphere. The pickled fries is only on the top of that holder, so don't expect a full basket, only half. They also sautéed my mushrooms upon request. Chef was very willing to have a happy customer. Great birthday dinner for me.
The food was exceptional! Big portions. Also, the restaurant was very clean and the waitress was very polite. I highly recommend this restaurant. The goat cheese dip was my favorite. Don't miss it.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: Yes
The Park Lane Tavern was nice. The restaurant was set up spaciously. We had room between the tables. Our server was very nice. He was attentive. The food was good. I had the fish and chips. The fish was a very good size. It had a good flavor. The chips/French fries were basically the steak fries. I would have liked to have home cut fries. But, I like steak fries generally.
Wow talk about well prepared pub food. This is on par with the food I had while touring Ireland and it brought me back. I really enjoyed everything here and it was made by someone that stayed true to the menu. Very friendly staff. Thank you
Clean and inviting. Friendly, helpful and efficient staff. Tasty food with a delightful variety of choices. I had the Monte Cristo, with a deliciously savory filling, a wonderfully crispy and crunchy crust and a dipping sauce that was sweet with a hint of tartness.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: Yes
