"Park Place Apartments is located in the medical district and is a great living opportunity for all. This community features a Liberty University shuttle, 24hr emergency maintenance, grilling, and outdoor seating, as well as our clubhouse and fitness center. All of our apartments feature 2 full bathrooms and have spacious floor plans to include patio or balcony, fully loaded kitchen, and walk-in closets. We do allow one dog or one cat. The dog or cat must be at least one year old and breed Restrictions do apply."

I was really done dirty with this company. I had put in an application in April and was approved shortly there after. We had to wait for my paper from section 8 to complete everything. By then, the manager that was there had left. So I had to wait another month or so for them to get another manager. Well, then they couldn't find my application, so I had to redo that. And couldn't find where I paid my application fee, so I had to repay that. Then I was put off again, by June my son had turned 18. So of course he had to be added and gis application fee paid, another $50. Then kept getting pushed back and pushed back. Then I needed to to pay $200 to hold the apartment that was going to be ready at the end of the month. This was August. That's when my application was finally completed . But by then, the rent went up almost $200, so I no longer qualified. But they sure got my money for what?? NOTHING!!
A lot of wasted time trying to get into this place. I called for a 2-3 BR for my mother almost 4 weeks ago. We were told something would be available right away for a 3 BR or during the week of 08/07/23 for a 2 BR. My mother had to be out of her previous place by 08/01/23. Even though 08/07/23 was going to be a stretch, that's the date she aimed for and decided to make work for financial reasons on the 2 BR. Forced to stay in a hotel from 07/31/23 - 08/12/23 as the apt was STILL not ready 5 days after the original date, we could not afford to continue to pay for a hotel. The office kept reassuring it would be "soon." My mother is now staying with family and has been since 08/13/23. We are now TEN DAYS past the original deadline given by the office and are open to looking elsewhere, unfortunately. My mother wants to be here, but our experience has shown they are not reliable nor efficient. Don't apply here unless you have at least 30 days to receive excuses.
I’ve lived here for over 2 years and 2 different apartments and I love it here. The office staff is amazing, especially Amanda, and the maintenance staff is great as well, Ernesto always goes above and beyond! I highly recommend this community!
Nice apartments,only problem is it's not easy to get to of there's a snow storm as it's on top of a steep hill
A don’t look closely kinda environment.
