Park Place Banquet Facility

The building is lovely and we got our deposit back in a timely manner. That's the nicest thing I can say about Park Place Banquets. 1-initial price on contract was wrong, I had to point it out to the manager 2-manager tried adding the Randall room to my bill when we had discussed prior that we wouldn't need it 3-asked for 125 chair rental for ceremony, manager tried to charge me for 140 4-day of the wedding, the manager wouldn't allow us to come to the venue until 3:30 ceremony at 5. This disrupted our timeline and plans for pre-ceremony photos with the bridal party. 5-Charges for 4.5 hour bar when you can only rent the venue for 5.5 hours, and the bar must close a half hour before the rental is over. This forced us to open the bar halfway through dinner or end up losing a half hour of bar that we paid for. 6-Manager was repeatedly curt and short in our email exchanges. Very sorry that this is the first wedding I've ever planned and the first banquet hall I've ever rented. 7-I received many comments and complaints from my family, my wedding party and my vendors that the manager was extremely rude and difficult to work with. It was embarrassing. Would not recommend. Edit- I'd like to add that it feels terrible to leave such a bad review but I needed to be honest about my experience.

Great facility for any type of event. Large main open room with huge dance floor and stage. Easy to get to quiet neighborhood with easy access and lots of parking. You would be well served by a professional staff at Park Place.

This place is remarkable! I highly recommend it for any type of celebration you may have. The staff is incredible, always smiling, friendly and very helpful. My wife and I were very impressed.

Great facility in Crystal Lake for any event.
