Once they snare you, they will pillage you yearly, knowing that you have no other options for covered RV parking. Rates have gone up significantly each of the past three years, I just received this year's increase which is $25.50 more per month than last year. Overall, I have to be paying at least $70 more per month than when I started and that is including a Veterans discount. Also, I am pretty sure the new "Honey Bee RV Storage" across the street is owned by the same people, hence the price fixing between the two sites. There are zero amenities here either, no RV wash, no detail services offered, nada. Best they can offer is allowing you to plug-in your RV, of course for an additional fee. Drive around the place & you will see just how many people, like me, choose to drop a solar panel in their spot instead because none of us need any more charges at this point. My buddy also stores his RV here but closer to the train tracks, he has had things stolen from his RV twice already and ownership pretty much just says "not our fault" each time. Sure, if you have to actually go in the office, they are nice enough, but they should be when it costs over $2500 a year to park a camper and that cost continues to rise yearly.
Great covered parking and storage options. They have state of the art cameras so rest assured your RV is protected. They also offer a app for your phone to open the gate. Very friendly staff. Also fresh water and dump services on the grounds. Easy access to the I-10 freeway so you can start your trip without driving through town. Or Walmart if you need to stock the fridge.
I've been here a year and have had nothing but 5-star experiences and interactions. The initial paperwork is pretty mind boggling, but once you get through that there is not a better place in Tucson. Clean, secure, and with wonderful amenities such as free dump facilities and free potable water.
I started coordinating my space with the staff before the facility was finished because it was obvious it was going to be a Top Notch storage facility and it is. You can make recommendation to the staff and they listen, which is extremely rare. Other facilities would look at you and say Oh Well…The staff here will evaluate your comment/suggestion and most importantly get back to you. We have been here since the beginning and have “Zero” regrets. The amenities are spot-on and clearly the owners took customer satisfaction seriously. Security is always a concern, but at this facility they are providing the best security possible. The loading/unloading area is a “great perk” that allows us for a nominal $10 per day fee to have access to 50 amp service as we get ready to pack & leave. Speaking of coming & going this facility is extremely convenient to I-10 and if you own a diesel, fuel is readily available at the local Pilot which was design for truckers so access is very easy. For people with large gas RV Coaches, it is recommended to use the Pilot a few miles down the I-10, which has a RV area to fill-up. If you are looking for a “Great RV Parking Facility” I would highly recommend Park Place Covered RV & Storage you will be very satisfied.
Amazing storage facility. Have kept my RV here since they opened. Even before opening, the staff was very forthcoming with information, easy to work with, transparent as far as policies go. The facilities are top notch, with a dumpster, two dump stations, 110V electrical opportunities for trickle charging, potable water. The staff there are even better. So helpful all the time, and it's obvious they care about what they do. So glad I got a spot there! Edit/update - they now have a smartphone app to open/close the gate, so you don't even have to get out of your rig to use the keypad, and they also have an overnight spot set up with 50amp power so you can park and pack your rig before your trip for a nominal extra cost of $10/night. Awesome place.
Very clean and well designed. Easy to get in and out of your space. Love that trickle charge is available for a reasonable fee. Nice and helpful staff. Well worth the extra storage fee to have my RV here vs the dirty small storage facility I've used in the past.
Clean, secure, sheltered, friendly service personnel, reasonably priced, and easy access. Love the gate app; makes it super easy. I've tried other locations in Sahuarita and though closer, they don't have the space to maneuver in a larger RV so its worth the extra drive for me. Great staff!
We had our RV in storage for 6 months and did not have it plugged in to keep the batteries charged. However when we dropped the team an email to let them know when we would be picking up our RV we asked them to charge the batteries for us. For that purpose we had left the battery compartments unlocked of course. They took care of this and considered it part of their service, so no charge! We were impressed with the storage facilities and the service we received.
Very friendly service when first renting a space for my RV. The parking area is very clean and adequately lit. The 2 dump stations here are great features. A bit on the pricey side but appears to be worth it due to it's close location from my house.
What a great facility. Great service, phone app for convenience to open gate, all paved, covered, nice and clean, perfect to pull up and dump, hose is always rolled up and ready for the next person. If you're looking for top notch RV storage, this is your spot!!
