A lot to say. Being charged $1050 for the smallest apartment is too much. Upon moving in I found a dehumidifier running in the unit. Not sure if they attempted to shampoo the bedroom carpet or if they were just trying to mask the odor in the carpet carpet was replaced After I was fully moved in. The laminate flooring was not cleaned upon arrival either. There is an ongoing problem with cockroaches. I found a bag of sugar and some food that fell under a cabinet from one of the sliding drawers next to the kitchen sink. I also have to do additional pest control on top of the provided service that is a 5-15 dollar monthly charge. Some of the appliances have issues or are worn out. I won’t list everything but to put things in perspective the microwave from the mid 1980s fails to boil a bowl of water within 5 minutes. Inspect your unit before you sign a yearly lease! Don’t take a lease sight-unseen like I did.
Don’t plan to live in a comfy, quiet and clean apartment. Because this is all old, worn out, and management won’t help out. First i noice black gunk coming out of my bathroom sink and shower. I let them know and they said to just live with it since its from hard water and nothing could be done. Okay. Then I wake up one day to water leaking from everywhere on the ceiling.from the upstairs neighbor. Almost all of my apartment was drenched at like 5am lost most of my kitchen appliances and all my bathroom items just soaked in dirty water coming from vents, ceiling, flowing down the walls. They sent out Stanley Steemer to control the flooding and water containment they said we had to file insurance to make sure all the work can be done and to replace everything. Turns out a month and a half later. The manager tells me that insurance was not claimed because they were just trying to get money out of them. Yet I’m left to live in a water damaged apartment that 2 months later is still having repair. And even if a repair is done they leave a mess everywhere and dont clean up after themselves. So I’m constantly having to clean up messes i never made, have people in and out of the apartment while im trying to sleep or have some peace. Everything is outdated and barely works. But hey they pick up the phone when you call nothing gets done right but they do know how to answer a phone call and take your money so theres that.
The property manager named Maria, are amazing and the maintenance workers too. I thank Marco and Elliot sooo much for doing an awesome job for their handy work.
The management team worked very hard to make sure I was able to have a flawless move. They even made sure I was able to get an apartment on the bottom floor due to my disability. Very well done!
So far, I've just moved here and I love the area I'm in and the people I share the complex with but it's just the beginning, let's see in about 6 months.
They didn’t ever give me the chance to bring them the money order with out call me first they closed my application out I will never apply again
Park Ridge is one of the best apartment complexes I've ever lived in! The management is a clear example of how good this place is, I definitely recommend Park Ridge to others looking for a comfortable place to call home.
Cause it's close to home
I had the worst experience living here. Weeks after we moved in I was literally counting down to leaving. Constantly had to deal with the people underneath us no matter what we were doing during the day they would bang on their ceiling.. while we were getting ready for work, vacuuming, even sometimes just walking to the kitchen. We complained and we were given TORN UP carpet from other apartments to lay down in our floors in the spaces we walked the most. They gave us so much of it and we finally decided to get rid of it so we sat it outside of our apartment for them to take back we asked so many times for them to come get it and they never did so we had to dispose of it ourself. They told us ever since they got hardwood floors they’ve had issues with complaining with the downstairs residents.
Great management and maintenance crew. These older apartments are very spacious compared to newer buildings elsewhere. The staff are working diligently to upgrade and improve the buildings and grounds. Convenient & peaceful location.
