Park Ridge Volunteer Fire Dept. is located in central Wisconsin inside Stevens Point. It is the smallest volunteer fire dept. in the U.S. covering the Village of Park Ridge. This department also serves as mutual aid to numerous local fire departments
Our mission is to provide the Village of Park Ridge and surrounding communities with fire protection, rehabilition (air supply, crew supplies), man power, DNR support, search and rescue support, lighting and 2500 feet of 5" hose
This department can provide service from three apparatus:
Engine 1 - Pumper

1250 gpm midship mounted Hale pump (spurt tested to 1500) with two 6" intakes, one prepped for 5" storz hydrant feed. Two crosslays, two preconnects and one 5" outlet along with two additional 2 1/2 outlets and a deck gun.
Engine 2 - Tanker
1985 3D/Welch Chevy
2400 ft LDH with midship-mounted pto driven 450 gpm pump. Outfitted with wildland firefighting gear and a mobile pump for portable tank firefighting capability. Also carries extrication equipment for auto.
Utility 1 - Command

Squad 675 has multiple functions. First, it is a mobile incident command center complete with five fixed radios including DNR lowband, an accountability board, and laptop with printer and built-in plasma screen 42" monitor to develop maps and dynamic accountability displays, and two built-in writing desks, as well as required maps and informational resources. Second, it is a firefighter transport with air pack seating for four in addition to the driver. Third, it is a rehab center complete with sink, refrigerator filled with rehydrating liquids, canned foods and drinks, as well as a five bottle 2216 psi cascade system. Lastly, it is a power center with a pto driven 18 KW generator. It has built-in lighting on two sides at 1000 watts per side and portable lighting and cords for an additional 8000 watts. This leaves 8000 watts additional power for tools and onboard cooking capability.
