Glenda's has AMAZING food!! First and foremost, we LOVE the sweetness of the dough and sauce! I see a lot of reviews downing this awesomeness! We always order a few sheet pizzas for family gatherings and there's never any leftovers! Today, we tried mozz sticks, cheddar jalapeño poppers, a seafood pizza and a FAMILY size cheese pizza!! The appetizers were fresh and awesome! The seafood pizza was pretty good but, could use a more garlicy sauce and some asiago cheese *hint hint*! And the family size pizza, actually ended up being a HALF SHEET! It was a little pricey, at 42$ but, it's worth the splurge every once in a while! They said 30 mins and it was ready BY the 30 minutes. Thank you! Follow me on IG @mother_beast #LocalGoogleGuide #UpOnColeHill
I really want to like the pizza here since it’s a local business, so much so I gave this place two chance. The first time a couple of years ago - the dough was so sweet it tasted like a pancake. Actually it tasted like a McDonald’s McGriddle it was also under cooked. Two years later I gave them another try. WHAT THE HECK! Same thing. Can they not make a pizza. If they want I can show them. Here’s how. Call Regos in Fairport Harbor and order from Jim then sell it as your own or you could just get frozen from Aldi. That would also be better.
Short version: If you like to pay for things you do not receive, and enjoy being treated rudely by people who do not appreciate your patronage, order from Glenda's! Long version: I have ordered frequently from Glenda's, because I like their pizza. Unfortunately, more times than not, they do not provide everything that was ordered/paid for. When I get food delivered, no matter how many notes you make on the order, the extra dressing or sauces I paid for are not included. When I call they are not apologetic. The last straw, and why I will never purchase anything from Glenda's again, is that we ordered the apple tarts, which are "served with a side of ice cream." Eight out of ten times, the ice cream is never provided. Usually, I just don't mention it. A couple times I called and was told they were out. Again, no apology. Once, we ordered the tarts with ice cream, and then ordered three extra orders of ice cream. None of the ice cream was delivered. Yesterday, my sister picked up an order I placed. I asked her to make sure they remember the ice cream. Of course, when she picked up the order, there was no ice cream. She reminded them and the poor girl at the counter had to ask someone in the back about the ice cream. When the girl returned, she said they were out of ice cream, and "it doesn't matter anyway, because the ice cream is free." Seriously??? Then why is it included on the menu with the apple tarts? I will NEVER patronize Glenda's again!
Called in for a family pizza. Said 1 hour. Over 2 hours later & no show. Called again said 5 minutes. Still no show after 30 minutes. Called again they said they had a large order to fill. That obviously is more important to them then the ordinary family!
I usually order delivery, food is always hot, fresh and delicious! When I do come in to dine always great service as well. Great team you have at your establishment!
Orders are never ready on time. I’ve ordered at all hours of the day on both week days and weekends. I’m constantly waiting 10-15 minutes past pick up time. More times than not they are out of one of the items I’ve ordered. When you call, the phone rings forever. Just disappointed with the last few visits. One positive is their Great Zukkes appetizer is wonderful—when it’s on stock.
I'm leaving a review in hopes that the owners see this and try to make some changes. We live nearby so we order from Glenda's at least twice a month. Their food in general is really good. The pizza dough is too sweet for my taste but my husband and friends love it. However, their ability to complete our orders in a timely fashion is dismal. Regardless of the time they promise our order will be ready, I nearly always spend a extra 15 minutes waiting in the cold waiting area. I've tried showing up 15 minutes after the promised cook time but that just adds 30 minutes to the time I finally get my food. This happens on a slow weekday evening just as often as on a weekend. On top of having a late order, they forget any sides I've paid for about 80% of the time. Today I checked my order after I got in the car, was missing the sides so I went back in, and they came back with the wrong sides still! I loathe ordering food from here now, it's quicker and more enjoyable to drive to Sheetz, and that's what I'll be doing from now on unless things improve.
Owners please read: I live in the area and order for you guys often. New girl was working the phone and I felt really bad for her because she was clearly not getting help and dealing with some kind of situation that was going on in the background along with the phone ringing off the hook. The people in the background were cussing and having an argument which did not help this new girl's situation when dealing with me on the phone. Ultimately I ended up canceling my order and going elsewhere. Might want to talk to the man and woman arguing in the background because it's not good for business and hopefully the ones arguing weren't you the owners. I really wouldn't be surprised if new girl quit tonight.
Had Dine-in @ Park Rd Bar & Grill... We can’t say enough about how awesome the experience was. We ordered their Lenten Specials for dinner and started off with 2 of the signature Apps. Oh my goodness, we ordered Onion rings which were the size of small tractor tires..HUGE and breaded perfectly with a great spicy ranch to dip them in. We also ordered the highly recommended breaded mushrooms which they use fresh mushrooms and batter dip into their own recipe. For our entree’s we ordered the seafood pasta tossed in butter and garlic, the fried fish and the “new on the menu” baked fish and ALL of these dishes were phenomenal!!!! We defiantly were not going home hungry with plenty left to take home... Our server for the evening was LAURA, she went above and beyond and answered all of our questions along with giving us Top Notch service. And a big Thank you to Micki, who is the owner of the establishment, for coming out table side and making sure we were taken care of. We will definitely be making this place our #1 Go-To spot!!!!!! They do offer Takeout with their adjoining location “Glenda’s Pizza Depot”. So if you can’t dine in then give them a call for take-out or delivery....
Went here last night on a whim, server was literally the best waiter I have ever had. Young kid who was polite and recommended his favorite stuff and said what other people like. Went over list of beers and liquors, checked on us just enough and wasn’t overbearing. Food was absolutely fantastic, the pizza sauce is sweet which you usually can mess up but this was perfection. Pepperoni was crisp and had those pools of grease in them made it super tasty. Will be going back.
