HOLY $HIT! I don’t like going out to eat Italian Food since I grew up in an Italian Household and worked at pizzeria restaurant from 14yrs old to 24. My Father was adamant on going here so we Made the Pilgrimage from Long Island. My god it was worth the trip! Nothing like it here on the island! My father got a clam dish that was PACKED with Flavor and generous portion! I was absolutely blown away with their bread bowl! The variety was something I have never seen and it even had prosciutto bread in it! I don’t like brown sauce but waiter strongly suggested their Chicken and Veal Dish. IT WAS TO DIE FOR! Something I have never experienced. Mouth is watering as I’m writing this! We will be back! We passed on dessert bc we want to ICE KING!
Let me start by saying I’m not a fan of Italian food. Even so, I loved this place! The gravy was the best I ever had. The veal parmigiana along with everything else brought me as close as I’ve ever been to enjoying Italian food. This place is old New York that sadly you don’t see much anymore. Enjoy it and try it out!
Atmosphere 10 out of 10. Took forever to get water or refills of water. The food is delicious to typical to meh. Go for the ambiance and the old school charm. Worth a visit but treat it less like a gourmet experienceFood: 4/5
Amazing Italian restaurant! Great atmosphere and ambiance. Great staff that are attentive and courteous. Very spacious and large . Great for big parties or intimate ones. Set by the garden, so beautiful. There's history here, look into it, love it. Valet parking only &/or metered parking/street parking. Complimentary and delicious variety of breads with cheese and cold cuts served. Great menu with variety of choices for everyone. At the end of your meal complimentary biscottis served. They also had complimentary apples from the farm. Red wine was great Ordered the lasagna for the appetizer not my favorite. The lobster risotto was delicious! Highly recommend. Rigatoni with lamb bolognese was delicious! Definitely make your way here. Vegetarian options: available there's a heart next to the vegetarian options Kid-friendliness: Kids meals available Parking: Valet parking only
Excellent Italian food. Everything was something else, even the side penne in red sauce were better than penne I've ordered as a main in other Italian restaurants. Best veal milanese I've had: crispy, well seasoned, not greasy, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. It isn't cheap, but the portions are rather generous. The waiters were very attentive around noon, though the place was still mostly empty. The ambiance is great, I love a bright space and the views of their garden are nice thanks to all the plants in front of the large windows. The desserts are fine, but not as memorable as the food. I have a sweet tooth, but in the future I'll reserve my appetite for their savory options. I've tried their home-made Italian cheesecake, and tiramisu, as well as the carrot cake. The only issue was that we waited 50 minutes for the food to come. I think the kitchen took a while to get started. Not a big deal, because the complimentary bread basket is also generous. I'm looking forward to my next visit so I can try more of the menu. I'm curious about their seafood.
The food was great but everyone knew that already. My friend Matt about his Steak Pizzaola: “I’m in the meat zone”. My chicken parm: perfect. They seated 9 of my friends today with no reservation before a rush. The people here are a class act. Prices totally reasonable too. Everyone else also acting like it was the treat it was to be there. My friends were all impressed I took em. Worth the wait/walk/everything.
My wife and I landed in LGA and needed to grab a late dinner. We came here and I got the chicken parmigiana that was one of the best ever. Even the side of spaghetti was so flavorful. My wife got truffle mushrooms fettuccine that was amazing. Great atmosphere, great service and great food can’t beat that. Also cant forget the generous size of wine glasses! AT-rater
Had an opportunity to experience this fine dining establishment with my uncle and auntie to celebrate my bday and I had an amazing time! Everything was well prepared and table service was excellent! Definitely 5 plus stars for this Italian Eatery!!!!
If you hungry for Italian food and you are in Queens then only Park Side! Everybody need to try this place least once! Be careful you can be addictive with they food! We celebrated couple of years ago the thanksgiving there, we keep coming back! Better if you call them for reservations they usually very busy! Enjoy!
Beautiful place with nice atmosphere and superb Italian food. Perfect for date night. We had the: —Arugula salad - delicious —Caprese salad - comes with a great balsamic glaze that is out of this world —Chicken Francese - so velvety and delicious —Chicken Marsala - probably the best I’ve ever had. If you’re in the NYC area this place is definitely worth stopping by for the visit. Highly recommend
