The mbta is literally the worst train service I have ever seen. A donkey with a cart would move a train faster. And clearly be more reliable, also would be on fire less often…
Park Street station is always very busy but it's easy to access many lines of which to take you anywhere you want to go. The fans just don't help much because it's underground and therefore very hot.

Tremont Subway station is the oldest subway station in North America. It isn’t particularly clean, nice or modern but what do you expect for s subway station that was built in 1897. It’s pretty amazing it’s still here and operating 120+ years later!
This MBTA station is close to some of Bostons major tourist attractions. Located near by is the Massachusetts state house, Paramount Centre, Boston Opera House, the Parkman Bandstand, as well as Boston Commons. A little further down walking distance is Boston City Hall, the JFK Federal Building and Faneuil Hall. This stop is on the T's Red Line and connects to the Green Line as well B, C, D, E.
stop all the hate this train station is the oldest in the US show some respect. And they will upgrade the station and trains so why so much hate? Also this station is pretty convenient for switching lines and going outside the station
Park Street is better than other stations but still worse than others. It's nice that there is a center island platform on the red line which I wish more stations had, and the new lighting systems are a clear improvement. However my main issue is with the green line, portions of it are way too loud to the point where it can permanently damage hearing and can cause long term stress and other issues. It's similar to Boylston station but with more tracks. I'm not sure what they do at Boylston occasionally to lessen the noise but they should take that same approach to Park Street too.
Some say that if you could balance all of Massachusetts on the tip of a needle the center would be Park Street station. It's the spiritual and cultural center of all of New England. Whenever I come to town to buy nutmeg wholesale I always take my clients to Park Street station.
Busy and pretty complex station, but not too unintuitive. Finding the Park Street-Downtown Crossing tunnel could be rather tricky, though. Doors open on both sides of the train. Some corners of the station smell awful.
If you’re not a local who rides the train you may find yourself confused. While this stop is a vital piece in connecting the red and green lines, it is the height of busy Boston subways. Green line is always a nightmare to me, the trolleys are crowded and oddly built. Like I said, it’s vital to use this train station and I will use the stop plenty more, whether I like it or not. The signs are helpful and if you pay close attention and think before you act, you will be ok.
