They need to care for the hole cemetery not just the back where the stand up headstones are that part is beautiful but the rest is not those people need to be considered just like the ones in the back
Today marks 3months that our son has been resting here. Brandy assisted us in plot area and completed our paper work. She was so kind, prepared and thoughtful as this was so hard for all of us. I love that they water and take really good care of the grounds. I'm out here all the time and all the stuff are very thoughtful and respectful. When I'm there visiting they turn off water area my son's monument and allow us to visit at peace. Everything is beautiful all green and well taken care of. Thank u
Worst experience, that left us devastated. Went with my step Mom to pick up my Dads ashes. We were already unsure how to feel, along with our Chaplin we walked up to the chapel office. Had to call a number to let them know what we were there for. This woman never gave us her name, she came out with a clip board and asked my step Mom to sign for the ashes. Then she said there's a family in there so she'll bring him out. She came out with 2 white dollar store bags, handed this heavy bag and said, OKAY HAVE A NICE DAY. She just handed me my Dad in a bag as if he was some take out. The most incompassionate, disrespectful, professional people. Hope she felt good about doing that, we'll never forget that thanks to this place. DONT DO THAT TO PEOPLES LOVED ONES WITH NO COMPASSION. REMEMBER THAT PEOPLE ARE SENSITIVE AND GRIEVING. You've made this a traumatic experience, hope you treat others better moving forward.
#1We had ordered flowers for my uncle's funeral and they were never delivered, they promised they will refund the money but we rather get the flowers. #2 if you happen to spend couple hours here and need to go use the restroom ,sure you can! if you find it cause theres no sign for it until you go around the building and find it yourself , There's no place to wash your hands , neither there's any soap and forget about the dryer. I was here from Seattle for my uncle's funerals and wasn't happy with these two things. Everything else was fine like the AC was working fine, parking is good. Other than the bathroom everything else was clean .
I'm writing my review 2 stars only.for the cleanliness and how my mother n laws funeral was very well done by the parkview Staff how they were very acomadating .HOWEVER...we bring Flowers vases. And they QUICKLY disappear family members come 2 day's later and there gone .We ask and we ask the grounds keeper and he says they do a cleaning of flowers .HOWEVER I turn to my left and plastic flowers and vases are there on the other stone heads for months!WE try and coordinate with the cemetery grounds keeping staff and our flowers and vases keep getting stolen. This has happen FOR THE PAST 3 YEARS VERY FRUSTRATING! !They ALLOW people to come in and STEAL!Things flowers and vases from our dear loved ones that have past away .I Can't believe the owners allow this. If you plan to bury a loved one at Parkview Cemetery please consider that your flowers will be thrown out or stolen. IT'S.very Sad. Please if anyone of the Staff wants to contact me on the matter please do so .I would like nothing else than resolve this matter. The cemetery should consider security or cameras .25 Vases and flowers and counting last 3 years....
I had to bury my mother. It could have been a awful experience, but with BRANDY MAPLE, it turned out to be a peaceful day. It all came together so well. We were having a close casket, but instead they made my mother look so well, I couldn't hide her gorgeous face. Thank you park view and Brandy Maple
Sometimes you think things are just going great, that you are receiving prompt and caring attention, and then it quickly goes south. We were assisted by Karynn Johnson in the matter of my son's disposition. I can only say good things about her professionalism, and prompt attention. All paperwork we returned the required documents by overnight delivery was processed quickly, and my son's remains delivered to his father in WV in a timely fashion. It was such a godsend to be able to take care of everything via email, phone, and mail as in UPS. I was notified on Sep. 19th that the death certificates were in the mail. Great! The last little bit of business could be resolved and I could then concentrate on my grief. By Sep. 25th, they had not been delivered, and when I called inquiring about them, I was told they were mailed via regular USPS, but that there had been insufficient postage and were returned to have that corrrected. The good news, I was told, is that they would be here this week! It is now Friday afternoon, Sep 29th, and they are still out there somewhere. I am beyond upset. As important and sensitive as these certificates are, I expected them to be sent via overnight or 2-3 day delivery, with means of tracking. Management needs to assess how this all transpired and see that it doesn't happen to anyone else. They receive 3 stars only because of Karynn's efforts, and the convenience of long distance. Two are deducted for the way the death certificates were handled. Update: In talking with the manager of the funeral home yesterday, Oct 2nd, I was informed that it is their standard operating procedure to mail what they themselves have called "perhaps the single most important document" no "perhaps" about it by regular USPS mail. The staff may or may not tell you that, so be sure to ask how you will be receiving the death certificates. Had we been informed, I would have gladly paid for overnight delivery. Poor customer service is not against the law, but perhaps it should be. We lost two weeks, and had added frustration and anguish, before the documents which were back at the funeral home a second time were sent by overnight express, and are now, finally, in our possession.
Exceptional, Outstanding Funneral home. All staff is very helpful, professional and caring when needed most in these Delicate moments. I highly recommend Them for their services.
I'm hurt...they are NOT honoring the online quote of $685 for direct cremation for my dying USMC VETERAN..it done turned into almost $1000...had to sell all I had just to get $700. Looks like a paupers grave for my Marine..WHY ALL THE HIDDEN COSTS WHEN UR AD SAYS THERE ARENT ANY!!!!
