West Milwaukee was very cute. Some cute features I haven't seen at a park since I was young. Wish it had more shaded spaces in or connected to the park area. Love how the park was designed to separate big children and young children. Two big fat boys were wrestling around in the big kids space there when my husband and I took our little one. It was great to have a space for our little one at that time.
I walk in this park every day. Many dog walkers and great tot lots for little kids and bigger kids. Not too big, not too small. Well kept up by the county. Baseball is very popular in the summer. Also tennis courts. Recommended. Restrooms: Restrooms only open limited times. Dog-friendliness: Sometimes dogs aren't on a leash as required. Picnic area: Many picnic tables available.
NICE PARK for FAMILIES! Playground Equipment for both Younger and Older Children, as well as an Excercise area. Wading Pool in the summer, Baseball Diamonds 4, Tennis Court, nice Open Areas, and a Small Woods at the edge of the park... There are also a number of tables for picnicking and benches to take a break.
2 playgrounds, one for toddler, one for older. Swings. Sand pit. Large grassy fields. Also lots of shade on the toddler playground.
Nice quiet park..plenty of room to relax, jogging and walking path, wading pool, playground for children and picnic spaces.
It's a nice clean park. Playground, splash pool, and a couple of ball fields. There are tons of shade trees.
Grabbed lunch and sat in the park to eat. Also did leash training with my 3 puppies. It was very nice and quiet
I took my 2 year during the middle of the week because I had been running errands all morning. It was nice and clean. Different play areas so more than enough to keep older and younger kids busy. 2 jungle gyms, 2 swing sets, baseball field, soccer field. Parking might be difficult to find on a day when the weather is good. Overall though, I'd take my children there again with no problem.
It's a nice size park they have a baseball field and a smaller park for the toddlers. Lots of walking space. I seen picnic tables it was very clean no trash.
The place is great for going for walks. Watch the birds they get a bit to unfriendly if you walk to close. The park is more geared toward 5-6+ year old which is a bummer for this young mom. But it's very clean and yes a great place to walk in some actual nature. Not just a concrete path with grass.
